Pyro's gaze fell on the two wolves that were visible, though he had a feeling there was another wolf that he couldn't see. The shadows behind him moved -- he thought they did, anyway -- and he turned his head to see a black wolf padding behind them. The wolf was larger than the other two, and had bright silver eyes and a bit of white around his muzzle, clearly a few years older and probably the alpha. His gaze turned forward once more when Slater addressed Dumah, the petite girl who stood before them, her light brown gaze on he and his mother. He could feel his mother's grip on his arm tighten, and offered a soft smile to his sister. " Dumah? " he queried softly as they approached her slowly. Dumah's lips quirked upward at the corners, murmuring a soft greeting in Lupine instead of English, and knelt beside the sleeping wolf on the ground, touching his shoulder lightly. She returned to her feet as he slowly roled to his feet, and then turned his blind, bright orange gaze on the humans. You must be Silence's family. he thought, projecting the thought into all three of the humans' minds, and noted the startled sound of the woman he would assume to be Dumah's biological mother. Fire turned, padding over to his sister and leaning his shoulder into hers as they walked to their Alpha, who remained ever so slightly hidden by the shadows. Pyro had watched the two wolves pad away slowly, but his gaze soon returned to Dumah, and he spoke again, seeing that she wouldn't speak first. Or rather, he tried to speak.. but as he opened his mouth to speak, she spoke first, " It is a .. pleasure to, " the Taken girl had to pause for a moment, obviously trying to speak her English as clearly as possible. " To meet you both, " she finally finished after a moment, feeling a bit embarrassed that she could hardly speak. Her gaze lifted to Slater, and she lifted a hand toward him in greeting. Pyro's voice broke her train of thought, bringing her gaze back to him, " My name is Pyro, Dumah. " he told her, and allowed his mother to step forward, toward Dumah, who instinctively took a wary step back, which was mirrored by a protective rumble from the shadows, though there was no threatening hint to the sound. Dumah looked to Slater, looking almost panicked. She had no clue how to deal with other humans, which was obvious in the way she had stared clueless at her biological mother when she'd opened her arms for a hug, and retreated when she had stepped forward, slowly, to embrace her.
