Silentpaw nodded her head. She smiled real big and purred, excitement running though her. She wanted to try something different, her eyes bright. She opened her mouth again and tried the song of a bird. It was a little strange and sounded strangle, but it was a bird song. She purred again, looking into Manepaw's eyes, trying to make him understand.

She purred. Now she could answer questions and help hunt. She could put her feelings into more than just a meow or cat squeak. She could snarl like a fox if she trained or sing like a bird. Energy rushed though her paws, making it nearly impossible to sit down.

Manepaw turned and looked at Violetpaw as she brushed his pelt. He purred and then looked back down at Silentpaw. "If you need help, Silentpaw, Violetpaw or I will help." he said. He turned back to Violetpaw. "It's almost morning. Want to go do a bit of early hunting near the camp?" he asked.
