Ink sighed and sat by the edge of the cliff, looking down at the water below. It just doesn't feel right. I'm supposed to know everyone, but I don't... He thought. Suddenly his horrible owner came up behind him and put a chain on him, followed by another muzzle and a rope lead.

"This is the dog! This is the one that bit me!" The woman shouted to two men, both in police uniform.
"Okay, do you want us to...You know, now or at the station?" One of the police men replied.
"NOW. I want this mutt gone for good." The woman hissed. She grabbed the pup's ears and turned him around to that he was facing the men. One of them pulled out a gun and pressed the end against his forehead.

Ink kicked his front legs to try to get the woman, but she let go of his ears and pushed him to the ground and stamped down on his neck to hold him down.

Koji woke up and lifted her head out of the mud she was lying in, which had turned red with her blood. She looked around weakly and slowly started to stand up, but she fell down again with a squeak of pain...

Aether flopped down on his side panting again. He closed his eyes and stopped breathing again. Aceso and Atlas cried out again followed by Roan poking his brother.

(I dunno If I want Aether to Live or die yet...

Yara pricked up his ears and ran off, snarling. Ink was in trouble. He could sense it somehow. He lunged at the humans, ripping the first's head clean off then lunging for the other. He knocked the gun out of his hand and stood in front of Ink, his gaze wild and vicious, his fangs bared, his pelt bristling with blind fury. "Run. Come on. Give me some sport." He started laughing, his bloodlust clouding his eyes.

"RAKO! HELP AETHER!" Atlas started crying and Roan wailed because his father had left and he was confused Aceso stood over her brother crying and sobbing while prodding him to wake up. Aether wasn't breathing or moving and his heart beat was very faint.

The police man grabbed the gun and shot Yara in the shoulder, then kicked him out of the way and pointed the gun at Ink's forehead again. He pulled the trigger and there was a loud bang, but Ink had moved side-ways and the bullet hit the deep cut in his throat that Yara had made.

"SHOOT BOTH OF THEM IN THE [censored] HEAD!" The woman screamed, grabbing Ink and lifting his head up.

Yara licked his shoulder, quenching his thirst for blood, for the moment. But that didn't stop him from grabbing the man's leg and twisting sharply. He jumped on top of the man, feeling the crunch of bone underneath him. He positioned his jaws around the man's neck and bit down, blood gushing out he wound.
One they were out of the picture, he turned his gaze to the owner, and smiled, licking his fangs. "Go on. Run. Call for help, no one can save you now."

Ten more police men came out from behind a bush and shot Yara again to get him away. Then they turned to Ink and all shot him at once, most of the bullets hitting his shoulers and chest. One hit his cheek and made him cry out in pain.

Yara smiled and bounded up to them, fighting all he could at once. He took many bullets, got cut many times, but he won. He stood, however bloody he was, tall and proud on top of the pile of carcasses, a sickening smile on his face.

The woman kicked Ink hard in the side and ran off. "I won't forget your faces, you stupid mutts!"

Yara started laughing and ran after her, catching up easily. He jumped in front, snarling, blood dripping from his jaws as he advanced on her. He knocked her down, holding her down easily. His would be the last face she ever saw...
