Tigerstripe looked at the injured Brighteyes and then glanced at Adderpaw, he had been in the den with them for awhile when an apprentice, Adderpaw was sure to be a warrior soon. He greeted his old den mate.

Adderpaw looked up again, this time looking straight at Thunderpaw, "I was hunting on the other side of the forest, how could I have seen them?" She said calmly, then looked at Tigerstripe, "Hi" The apprentice mewed quietly,smiling a little as her old denmate came over to her.

Brighteyes looked at Adderpaw and Brighteyes talking. She smiled and wish she could easily get up and go talk to them, but it was hard just to move right now. This was probably the longest she went without talking.

Thunderpaw shook his head. "Even an elder would of smelt dog, you should of seen it I stood up to those dogs while you were busy out hunting!" He lied as he had only just become an apprentice a day before the attack, his mentor Fawndapple who was the deputy had been injured by a dog and he had not started training yet but was eager to do so.

Tigerstripe smiled to Adderpaw as he sat next to her, his newly gained battle scar lay on his side of his fur as he looked at Thunderpaw. "Thunderpaw...Adderpaw was halfway across our territory, she has trained for awhile and would make a good warrior."

Adderpaw smiled, "Thanks, but Thunderpaw does have a point, I should've smelt them while I was out, but then again I don't know how close they where to me, or how many there where, or how strong the scent was" She mewed in the calm tone she had used before. Watching as Tigerstripe sat next to her, she saw the scar down his side, that reminded her of the one she had gotten a while back. "That scar looks sore, have you gotten Ivyfrost to treat it yet?" Adderpaw asked, looking at him.

Tigerstripe shook his head ignoring the pain. "No, she has a few too many cats to treat. I can go later...Anyways I believe your ceremony will be soon Adderpaw. When Sunstar pulls things together and I wonder why he has not made Malicepaw or Dawnpaw warriors yet...not that I care for Malicepaw."

Thunderpaw shook his head and sat down glaring at her. "Does not matter if you would of smelt one then you could of warned us."
