"Yes, that's one reason. Stress can stop a queen's milk from flowing efficiently enough for her kits to feed properly, which of course is bad for the kit. But stress from the mother can also stress the kit. If a mother feels distressed, the kit can easily pick up her stress and react in a similar way." Threeleg explained, looking back up at Yellowflower. "I'm glad to hear you are okay." He meowed with a nod before turning his head to Starling and then back up at Yellowflower. "Hmm.. We could give him a poppy seed for his pain, and there is a solution for his spine and legs but it would keep him in the medicine den for a while and perhaps push his apprenticeship back a moon or two. But it's better to get it over with now while he's still young and his body is still growing."

She smiled and purred softly as she saw the young kits playing a little way off, seemingly arguing over who was going to be leader of their Clan. "Their like little warriors already, I hope my kits grow up to be like them."

Sparrowpaw rose to his paws and shuffled closer to Dustpaw. "What do you think we should do? We already cleaned his stockpile out." The apprentice looked at Dustpaw and thought for a heartbeat. "I know! We can start to help you with your walking! I know Threeleg will be best with this, but we can always hop on three legs to try and help you."

Stooding up he wondered if he was going to be sick 'maybe better to go ask Threeleg if he know something' he wondered and make his way to the medicine cats den "Hello Threeleg...Goldenpaw?" he meowed trying to be gently, but noticed they wasen't in the den, so he sit up to wait.

He looked as the Otterkit walked next to him, smilling "Otterkit is nice too" he meowed turning then to the other two fighting kits. They was just a kits, but he knowed how a harmless looking play fight can chance to true fight, he was the oldest to them all and didn't want them to get hurt. So he desiced to look and if it go too serious he will stop them.

"Try walking normally to begin with, that way we can tell where you're wobbly." The apprentice chirped, watching his three-legged friend to help him if he needed it. Sparrowpaw couldn't imagine losing a leg, so he tried to put himself in Dustpaw's shoes. It must be hard for the tom, after all, he wanted to become a warrior with Sparrowpaw and Berrypaw.

After looking around for a while he stumbeled across a hollow stump from a fallen tree. That would be good enough for him for tonight. If it was comfortable enough he might make it his permanent home. Florina carefully stepped inside making sure his fur was not stained, before lying down. It was dry and not too cold, he knew he would be able to fall asleep here.
