Ash flew silently beside Kappa, she looked over her shoulder at Lany and Leath. She sighed, her head swam with different emotions.

"You okay, Ash?" Kappa asked her friend. "I know you don't want to leave them... but they're banded. It's dangerous."

Ash sighed, she ruffled her fur, the bigger bat became her old self "yeah, your right Kappa. they are dangerous."she said indifferently.

"We'll get out of here soon," Kappa assured her. "And then we'll see our old colony members and friends. It'll be all over soon."

Leatherwing shifted his wings in his spot besides Lany. "So... now what?"

[Shiverice]

"I...I kind of want to escape," Lany said.

"Really?" Leatherwing squeaked, hurt reflection in his eyes. "But... why? Its so nice here! The humans treat us well, and there's always food, safety, and company."

"You're right. Kappa and Ash were stupid, anyways. What do they know? This is the life," said Lany.
