The tom blinked. No one had ever reacted this way to his threats before. He snorted, orlling his eyes. "Well, are you? 'Cuz you're acting awfully stupid. And anyways, get over it. The world's a mean place. And an unfair one, too." He gave an exasperated sigh, as if explaining this took up all of his time and energy. Which it did. In his mind. He watched her silently, his eyes fixed on hers. is small body was puffed up from the cold night air, and the fact that he was trying to look bigger than his normal four-inch size.

[duckteeth]

"Not...not as far as I know." Squirrel muttered, slightly hurt. She knew, somewhere inside her, that her perpetual fear of nearly everything was a problem. Wasn't normal. But...that didn't make her stupid, right?

"Are you cold?" The words slipped off of her tongue before she even realized what she was saying. What if he got mad? What if he thought she was taunting him or traeting him like a tiny little newborn kit? No one liked that. And why had she even said that?

...Zeus...

"Hrrumph. Well that's good. I don't like stupid cats." He said bluntly. His agression seemed to lessen slightly, and settled down a bit. He narrowed his eyes only slightly when she asked her quesstion. He could tell by the look on her face she was appaled by what she said...and horrified. He held in a snigger and surpressed a snort. "No, I'm not. I find that being a loner since birth has toughened me, unlike those soft indoor cats." He sniffed.

Larka blinked and looked up, startled by Dark's question. "O-oh. It's no-nothing, really. I got h-h-hit by a car a w-while back, so my sh-shoulder's still sore. That's a-all." He finished his half of the pizza and ran a paw across his black-and-white face. A car rumbled past the alley and he flinched, then looked down at his paws sheepishly. Dark must think I'm a giant scaredy-cat... The tom berated himself.

"She's Black." Tannaheare tipped his head towards the she-cat at Twinkle's question. "You don't need to know my name." The tom cast hard glance at the round block cat before turning his glare on the kitten. His belly suddenly rumbled with hunger aand he stood up, stretching deeply. "I'll be going now."

...Dark...

"You got hit by a car?!" She said dubiously. "Sheeshh...seems like I'm gone for five seconds and you get yourself into a mess!" She joked. "Well, you still seem awfully brave about it." She grinnned. Her dark storm grey eyes watched him curiously. "I'll bet it hurt....didn't it?" She murmured. Her tail lashed. She wanted to kill those humans for hurting Larka!

Squirrel stiffened, "I-I'm not an inside cat. I've been an outdoor cat all my life. It's just...you shivered." she muttered awkwardly, her confidence returning slightly. Or, well, her fear of Zeus had started to lessen a bit. He didn't seem to be trying to attack her or hurt her or anything. She was safe on top of the trash can, anyway. Or, at least, it seemed like she was. She let her fur flatten. "You just kinda shivered...ish. I didn't mean to offend you."

Twinkle lashed his tail annoyedly, "But why noooooooot?" he whined at Tannaheare. "Is it a secret? A super duper secret secret? That no one can know about?" Twinkle started to brighten up. "Why is it a secret? Is it a bad word? or are you a...a...A SPY?" Twinkle started to pace around excitedly, "That must be so cool, being a spy. Spying on everyone, and watching what they do and stuff without them knowing..."

Mordecai licked his paw and drew it over his head, cleaning the scratches around his ear. Stupid cat... he thought angrily. It was just an old scrap of pizza. Why on earth had he attacked him for it? The scratches stung slightly as his cat-spit covered paw pads touched them. Muttering to himself he began to lick the other small scratches on his legs and side. It was nothing major, but it sure was annoying.

The tiny tom lashed his tail in annoyance. "I never said you were an indoor cat! Fool!" He snapped, irritated. The annoyed expression remained on his face. "And you didn't offend me. You're just annoying me and invading my space. And your chicken leg stinks. Hurry up and chuck it out, or eat it already, wold you!" Zeus grumbled, complaining. He was often in a foul mood. In fact, if one were to know Zeus, they would not be surprised by his attitude. However, not many knew Zeus. He kept to himself and often scared those he did meet. Or acted like a weak young kitten and got food from them. Either way worked. He smirked to himself, pride glowing in his chest. What an acomplished cat he was.
