Amberheart sniffed Goldflower. Her eyes became clouded. She shook her head 'no'.

Hawksky looked at Nighsplash, who was now sleeping, and then to Amberheart. He finally made up his mind and trotted over to Goldflower. "What's wrong with her?" he asked.

"Too much blood...She can't breathe." Amberheart said.

Goldflower's breathing slowed and slowed until she didn't at all.

"This is all my fault!" Amberheart yowled.

"It's not your fault," comforted Hawksky. "There was nothing we could do." Hawksky lowered his head and rested it on Goldflower's back. He groomed her between the ears.

Coldmoon rushed over to the cats. She quickly started appling cobwebs around Nightslash's injuredspots. She coveted it with burdock root and turned to Goldenflower. "She's dead!" she cried out. "I'm sorry. Its my fault... If I got here sooner,she wouldn't have died," she mewed softly. She turned away sadly and keptworking on Nightsplash. Waterpaw edged her way in,only to be pushed away by Coldmoon."Give me some room!" she hissed and Waterpaw edged back.
