"Everyone! The first challenge is the CAREFULLNESS CHALLENGE! You will each try to complete the obstacle course as carefully as possible, and the first three to complete it win a point! I will give you a quick tour of it." Tinystar walked over to a long obstacle course, with items she'd found at twoleg homes, in the forest etc.

Everyone followed. "First, you have to jump over these dead fallen trees without touching them!" Tinystar quickly jumped over. "Then, you have to jump onto these big rocks without touching the water under them!" Tinystar carefully jumped from one to the other. "The penultimate stage is here; you have to collect these herbs: comfrey, goldenrod, burdock, and poppy seeds. THere are quite a few herbs here, but you only need to collect those four." Tinystar only passed this stage.

"And last, we have the parkour challenge! You need to jump onto these treestumps on the walls here, then onto a big rock, and then make a medium-long jump to the end!" Tinystar did it, and jumped easily to the other side. She walked back to the opening of the first challenge, and said

"YOU START IN THREE, TWO, ONE, GO!!!!!!!"

Carefullness test? Darn it! Leafcloud kind of wished she didn't forfeit because that was basically the reason she was created. She was about to make a comment on the song Sandkit was singing when he asked if they were going to cheer. The she-cat ended up replying with "yes we are definitely going to cheer, we just start when the race starts." Timeshare was just announcing the beginning of the race when Leafcloud finished "I think its starting now, get ready to cheer in three, two, one..... NOW"and continued to yell random phrases of encouragement to Fallenrains. She still kept a watchful eye on Sandkit, in case he fell off the stump.

hey guys, can someone maybe make a character to be Leafcloud's mate? I was hoping for one earlier in the game but now I'm pretttttty sure that everyone's taken. Also, can we get a bit more backstory on lightningStrike pls? I'm ever so slightly confused on why he is so hateful(?) around Fallenrains

FallenRains

Green eyes turn to the medicine cat a moment, silver leaking into the already faint color - like the new haze of springs first leaf buds. "Perhaps she will." Is breathed in response, with a teeny bit of hope. He doesn't think the kit would choose him. Why should he? How could Sandkit love him?

The warrior nods, stammering an apology, "I'm sorry, I don't pay attention-" He manages to say after blushing into the earth better his odd paws. He breathes a sigh of relief at the interruption- er, distraction- that their leader TinyStar provides. Turning his full attention onto the she-cat, he listens. Careful, wet, herbs, parkour. Got it.

At the shout for them to start he's gone, longer limbed than the others he makes it to the water and across. Somehow he and his ex Apprentice are neck and neck...

The herbs are easy. But when he goes to deposit his pile of four... they're gone! Or did he pick the wrong ones? There is a small pile of four.... he stoops again and smells them, and then, rather than take them from the one who'd taken them from him, he returns to the pile. Quiet he quickly gets the four again. Did anyone see that? See what had happened? It doesn't matter. This is a game right?

And they're cheering for him. I don't deserve them. To win. ...

(Yay!)

LightningStrike

"Thanks!" Is purred with a too-wide and toothy smile, then his blue eyes narrow in challenge and he takes his place to listen to their leader.

He blinks as Tinystar explains, preparing his muscles to leap into action. As she counts down he looks between SeaSong and FallenRains, "Good luck. " is said, as if he means it, voice cold and sorta creepy. "May the best cat win." When Go is uttered he darts off, trotting behind his mentor. How am I to know which herbs they are?! Rattails! TinyStar didn't point them out. is spat and then there is a gleam in his eyes. As FallenRains crouches beside the herb pile he sidles up next to him, as close as can be, moving when the silver cat does. Seasong may say something, but HE won't. Useless furball. He carefully takes the herbs, replacing the pile of right herbs with a random set of four.

Leaving his pile where they are meant to go he heads off for the parkour challenge. He would win. He's the best warrior. The whole clan would see. Head high he is soon leaping ---

(So, LightningStrike WAS FallenRains apprenticeship. Fallen had lost his family, and Strike blames him for it. Fallen was hurt saving strike from the road when strike was an Apprentice... so LightningStrike was given to another warrior to finish. Fallen thought he was saving strike, but it turns out strike was trying to hurt him as he blames FallenRains and doesn't think an 'outsider' should be apart of the clan. Now, strike seeks to undermine Fallen if not outright kill or hurt him. Does that help?

I dunno I figured we needed a bit of drama... an evil cat..)

Seasong took in three deep breaths as Tinystar counted. She took her favourite pre-running pose, and ran and hopped, over the dead fallen trees. Fallenrains was at the same tree as her, and they raced to the edge. Now, it was rocks. Seasong wondered how they'd ever gotten water there. She carefully jumped from rock to rock, Fallenrains a few rocks behind her, and she came to the challenge she was best at.

"Thank god I'm a medicine cat!" Seasong breathed anxiously. She looked for a shrub with purple, blue and white flowers. Bingo! Everyone was looking at the middle of the floor and not in the corners. Seasong smiled to herself, as she discovered that there wasn't just comfrey there; there was also goldenrod and burdock! Seasong got a good piece of confidence, and went to look in the next corner. Poppy seeds!! This was Seasong's lucky day.

She gathered them over to Tinystar, who gave her the signal to do the parkour. Seasong slumped back into a sitting pose and JUMPED onto the treestump on the wall. She tried to jump to the next one, and nearly fell. She quickly grasped it with her claws, and pulled herself up. Oh. Now the treestumps were good. She took a long jump onto the rock, pulled herself to the edge of it, and swung herself to the end.

"I-I'm the first to finish?!" Seasong gasped. Fallenrains and Lightningstrike came jumping out of the medicine cat den, pushing eachother, trying to get to the treestump. What?! A new cat was eagerly coming straight to the rock, and was ready to take a leap.Where the Starclan did he come from?!

Tinystar watched as all the cats jumped graciously over the trees. She carefully took her secret shortcut to the medicine cat stage, and waited for the cats to appear. Seasong came first, and started sniffing in the corners. She was always such a smart cat. Tinystar smiled, as she had taken care of Seasong when the medicine cat was a kit. Seasong placed the herbs in front of Tinystar, and hopped along.

Fallenrains and Lightningstrike seemed to be having their own unique race. She saw Lightningstrike taking Fallenrain's four random herbs and placing them in front of her, but Fallenrains hadn't even had time to see if they were the actual herbs? Fallenrains took the right herbs this time, and gave them to Tinystar.

A rather fluffy cat came running. "Hi, I'm Frostbite! Remember me? I signed up too." he mumbled as he started collecting the herbs. setting them in front of Tinystar and jumping to the parkour.

Frostbite hoped he wasn't too late. He'd always loved challenges! He passed the cats sitting on treestumps, and accidentally got a bit of his fur stuck in.. what was her name? Leafcloud? Yeah, Leafcloud's treestump. "Sorry!" he yelled as he ran over to the challenge, exactly as Tinystar said GO!

He made it through the trees, the rocks and the medicine cat stage. He absolutely loved parkours more than anything, so he quickly jumped the treestumps, the rock and took a flying leap onto the end.

((Here he is, it's Frostbite :DD Btw Alpha, I think Fallenrains gets the third place since Lightningstrike didn't collect all the correct herbs (they were completely random, so there could be several mistakes). Meisxinyi, how do you like Frostbite? ^w^))

Leafcloud was so focused on the timing of her cheering that she didn't notice the cat that was zooming away from the treestump she was sitting on. Was he... apologizing? "there is no need to apologize~" she said to herself, blushing ever so slightly. He was cute! But how would this affect Sandkit? Fallenrains was technically his father and- ack, she thought, shaking her head. She was overthinking again. The she-cat really wanted to just go with the flow...

argh I thought Lightningstrike was a good cat blslfbhlsdbh. also, thx for the backstory Alpha :3. I'm just going to go all out in the next few responses don't mind me ~.~

The silver cat uses his longer limbs to leap higher and over LightningStrike; maybe he would be okay. He knows herbs... and his ex Apprentice doesn't. Thinking back on it he frowns before using his too light weight to soar over the other warriors head. Ha! Second? Third? Does it matter? He was better!

He stops just after where the challenge was to end, tail tip tucked again one ankle, ears for once still. [i]I won!Won!

He glowers at this Frostbite; when had he gotten there? He hadnt even started at the same time! What a cheat!

As his former mentor lands so so sooo softly that glower turns into a glare and then is smoothed away. How dare he? Doesn't he know his place?

As Fallenrains landed softly on the ground, Seasong laughed. "That was probably the best landing I've ever seen!"
The new cat, Frostbite, came over.
"Hi! I'm Frostbite, I was a kittypet called Frosty once! Who are you?" he asked. "I'm Seasong, I was an abandoned kit, but Tinystar found me and raised me! This is my, um, uhh, FRIEND Fallenrains!" Seasong said cheerfully, while giving Fallenrains a gentle nudge to say something.

"We have three winners!! Seasong came in first, she has been awarded one point, Frostbite came in second with long jumps, he has also been awarded one point, and same goes to third place winner Fallenrains! You three and Lightningstrike will be competing tomorrow again, for a new challenge here!" Tinystar smiled. "Lightningstrike, for your nice try, you will be awarded a first pick at tonight's fresh-kill pile!"

"That's nice!" Frostbite smiled at Fallenrains and Seasong. "Are you mates?" he asked. "NOOOO, of course not! That would be, uh, against warrior code! Right, Fallenrains?!" Seasong said nervously, but no one noticed.

Frostbite couldn't help but stare behind him, at Leafcloud with a small kit. He locked eyes with her for a split second, and then quickly turned his head back to the others.
