Lunarpaw bowed her head sadly “I’m sorry for being so mouse-brained,” she said ‘mouse-brained’ a little sarcastically but not enough to be picked up “I just thought that whoever Sunpaw would bring to camp would be nice like him,” she sighed shaking her head. Her paws kneeled the ground nervously. These cats all probably think that I’m fox-brained. She then lifted her head and smiled. “I hope that we can still be friends,” she said adding a happy tone to her voice as her eyes shone. Almost with tears.

The freckled kit miserably at her paws. She flinched away from the medicine cat, trembling. She was afraid of getting yelled at again so she looked out of habit for her brother, who was better at explaining things. She felt like crying but she couldn't do it in front of everyone, so she gave an odd whimper. She didn't know what to do besides defend herself. "The berries.. I only ate them because I forgot to eat." Everyone was fussing over her for no reason it seemed like. Her brain felt like mush but she didn't care to notice at the moment. Her movements were twitchy and she walked as if she was struggling to carry something heavy. She of course, tried to hide the fact that she felt ill.

A small nod was the only sign that Shadestorm had heard her apprentice. Ignoring Frecklekit, she leaned over her, trusting that Softpaw would keep her still. Taking a small breath to ready herself, she gently opened Frecklekit's mouth, shoved the yarrow in and finally closed it. She raised a paw and gently massaged Frecklekit's throat, in order to get the kit to swallow the herbs. When Shadestorm was satisfied, she stepped back, giving Frecklekit plenty of space.

Jasperpaw was not quite ready, and the sudden weight of Silverpaw almost made him jump and let go. Luckily, he managed to lean down and grab Silverpaw by the scruff of her neck as if she was a kit. Straining his neck, he gave one final yank, pulling Silverpaw up over the edge of the cliff tumbling backwards in the process. Digging his claws into the ground, he steadied himself enough to stand up. "You good?" was all he managed to say, panting heavily- mostly from the momentary panic and rush of adrenaline.

Her paw steps were still shaky but she made her way over to the tom and snuggled close to his side, resting her head under his chin.
