Rustpelt smelled her apprentice coming, but stayed put a little bit longer. She would wait just until he was near her, then she would run just like prey would.

(Ferretpaw will normally do something like this. He doesn't stay on a topic for long, Give him about 20 minutes and he goes onto something else. Later that will change.) Ferretpaw flick his ear as he looks at the rock. His tail flicks as he steps back.

"You didn't answer me." Pikeflower murmured with a frown. He finally stopped and turned to face his daughter. "I know that. You'll always be my daughter and I'll always love you as well. I will not love him though. I will not even like him. In fact, I despise Falcondusk because of this. I cannot approve of the two of you together but I can't actually do anything to stop it either." He went on to say.

Cloudgaze nodded her agreement even though her blind mate could see it. "Yes. You were. Hopefully you'll be around a lot too for the next litter." She purred.

Rustpelt frowned. What was taking him so long? It couldn't be that her hiding place was too difficult, it was just about the worst hiding place in the forest. She looked dumb, just sitting there behind a rock. Maybe he was dead? Maybe he had fallen down a ravine? She tried to justify his absence though everything made no sense. She betted that Birchpaw had already found her mentor and they had caught a pile of prey at this point. Maybe she was just a bad mentor? She made a mental note to go ask Nightsong for tips after they were done.

Waterbone sighed, then bowed her head. "Maybe we can't be together. Even if he does make me happy." She started walking away, her tail dragging in the snow, and her ears pressed to her head. "He visits me more than you ever did." She whispered, almost inaudibly.

Leopardstripe purred. "Hopefully." He smiled. He didn't get the hint.

Ferretpaw shook his head as he flicks his tail. He looks around and sniff the air again. He headed towards the scent. Falcondusk flicks his tail as he look at the door.

Ferretpaw headed in the area of his mentor but only by a scent of a cat, Zafer, who was walking around the newly destoried forest.

Pikeflower was about to simply leave it at that, perhaps try to cheer her up some but hopefully not get too pushy with it, until he heard her whisper. "What do you mean?" He questioned as he stepped forward to walk beside her again.

Cloudgaze gave a soft sigh at his obliviousness. "You do want more kits, don't you?" She asked, somewhat worried that perhaps he was avoiding the topic on purpose, "Because I was kind of hoping that maybe...We would have another litter."
