I looked over at Aztec. "YES!" I bark. "MMMMMM! They are soooooo good." I wag my tail fastly side to side.

I listen Niita's faint voice, but loud enough to hear her clearly. "I'm working on it." I shout back. I kept running along the side. After what seemed like an hour which was probably only 18 minutes of running I see up ahead a spot where the cliff was at an angle. It was a little steep, but not that bad. It was pretty smooth for the most park and had cents, so it could pretty easily be climbed. As long as you watch your step that is. I took a few breaths and began running back to the Alpha and Niita.

I look around and try to figure out where to go for breakfast. 'I'll go check behind that burger building first!' I turn right down the alley. I walk up to the back building and look in the trash bins. I found a few pickles and onions. They were flavored with condiments. That was bout it for the first two bins. There was one more bin to check.

'I wonder if anyone notices me?' I ask myself. I laid down in the shade and took at nap.

"Okay." I yip and keep on walking, but this time at a slowly pace, so I can observe things better.

I saw the coyote appear. I growl and quickly look around for more. Where there's one there is usually more!

"Well let's go get some then. Lead the way Jake." He wagged his tail at the thought of a hot dog.

Jenna
Walking down alley ways wasn't very fun but she could see some greenery up ahead, it might be a park.

The sun is slowly sinking towards the west. It is now afternoon. The skies are clear, it is somewhat warm and a cool breeze is blowing from the north.

The German Shephard padded alongside Niita, somewhat limping after getting his paw caught in a tree root. His nose was pointed to the sky, as he searched the air for any scent of rain." No rain tonight, that's good. " he said, shaking out his pelt and looking up at the cliff above them. " Hey Jupiter ! Have you found anything yet ? " he barked up to the fae. He couldn't see her so supposed she was following them on the high bank of the river. He glanced across Niita's back to the river beside them, now suddenly aware that the river was slowly rising and would soon cover the small shore area they were on. He glanced back up to the bank, hoping Jupiter would find some way to get them up out of the ravine before the water swallowed them up.

The boxer watched as the coyote sidestepped out of the bush. Surely it wouldn't try to attack three grown dogs. That's when another head popped out of the bushes, this coyote was a lot bigger than the other and looked stronger. She growled as it too crept out of the bush. The two dust laden coyotes snarled back and the smaller one lashed out at Beta, who smacked the large one on the side of the head, claws tearing through its fur. Rip hardly had time to react,as the large coyote lunged for Fly and seized her by the neck. It then shook her, hitting her head against the ground and against several sharp stones that lay nearby. As blood pooled onto the ground from Beta's neck and head wounds, Rip jumped on top of the big one, digging her claws into its back and creating pressure on its spine.

The doberman was about to give up when she noticed the door to the loading dock being pushed up. She raced to it, sliding through and colliding with the dogcatching longpaw who had another dog in the noose contraption. She bared her teeth at the longpaw, who dropped the line attached to the dog and fled for the back of his loudcage. With a glance to make sure the other dogs were following, she lit out of the yard before the gates swung shut and kept running.

[Wolfysh Owlet]

Niita looked at the river. Oh longpaws and squirrels... High tide is coming. We have less than half an hour.. She was a bit nervous.

Alexa
Although she was on the other side of the door, she was quickly behind Jinx. She managed to miss the longpaw as she slid out the door, but only slightly. Once she regained her balance she printed after Jinx, staying one a few strides behind.

Dexter
He looked down an alley way quickly as he passed and stopped as he thought he saw some meat. But as he stopped to get a better look it was just a coloured bag. He trotted to catch up with Jake and Aztec.

Raven
She laid her head down on her paws and shut her eyes to try and get some sleep. She was starting to drift off when her side was bumped. Her head shot up and she looked over to where she was bumped. She glared at Blade as a warning and nipped his rear end. That made sure to let him know to play somewhere else and not bump her.

Blade
The playful pup had just had a nap and now wanted to play. He saw his mother was sleeping so decided to play by himself. He saw a leaf blowing in the wind and started to chase it around. Then he stumbled over his tail with his big paws and tumbled into his mothers side, waking her up. He rolled over and showed his soft belly to show he didn't mean it. He got up with a jult as he was nipped but trotted away a few yards to find something else to play with.


Vincent
He had to sort out some things before he would join the other hunters. He trotted through the forest, smelling for the other Hunter's and beta's scents. As he neared he smelt coyotes and... Blood. He broke into a run and burst through a bush, confronted with the scene. Instinctively he lunged for the one on Fly, to help RIP get it off of her.

Aztec started walking to the back of the burger building. My owners mate was formerly working here. Lets see if they notice me. He smiled. He started barking at the door when noticing a starnge dog. Hi! Whats your name? He looked at the dog weirdly. Do you need food? You seem very hungry... He looked at Derek, calmly.

[Ascende superius]

Dexter
He followed Aztec to the back of the burger building. "Aztec, he could be hostile." He whispered, as if to tell him to be more careful with strays. If the stray wasn't hostile he didn't have a problem but if he was then he would be outnumbered.

[Wolfysh Owlet]

He whispered back. I know, but better act like we noticed him, cause surprise could be even worse.. What if he would have attacked us while we would just walk?

The coyote yelped as Vincent jumped on top of him. Giving Rip a rough shove and a quick nip to Vincent, it ran off its tail between its legs. Its smaller companion followed, bearing several wounds administered by Checkers.

As soon as the coyotes left, Rip ran over to where Beta lay. She nudged Fly with her nose, trying to awaken the "sleeping" Beta. " Fly, c'mon wake up. The fights over, we won. " she said, then turned her head to look at the two males. " She's never waking up, is she ? "

She stopped in the alley way, panting, and turned to face the german shephard.

I lower my ears as we come across the big hairy dog.

(Thought I posted my reply, but guess not) I ran what seemed like half an hour. Which was really only 10 minutes. I found a slanted spot. it was a little jagged from rocks, but it was at just the right angle where they could most likely climb up. I ran back to where I last saw them. I leaned down and barked. "I found a path that you might be able to climb up!"
