He became quickly thankful for his darker fur color, giving him some to hide the redness growing in his cheeks. "Like what? A race? Best swimmer?" It was the first things that came to mind, especially with an open beach and cove filled with harmless fish. Most of the threats out in the growth weren't seen on a daily bases, give or take the sharks. He hoped anything they did would end up safe.

The Russian blue smiled. "Fishing then Racing? And maybe some defense skills?"

"But I'm so old and cranky, gotta warm up." He fake whines, rolling onto his back. His paws stretch and wave around in the air. "Where do you think we should race? I thought about the beach, if there were no live sharks on it today." Rolling onto his belly, continuing to stretch.

"We'll fish at the beach, far from the cove. Then fish in tide pools and what not. Then fight!", Splashfrost purred happily.

"You sure fooled me talking about hunting later. I thought it was going to be all peaceful." He meows before glancing at the camp entrance. "Ladies first." Keeping his tone friendly, becoming a bit fearful putting her in a bad mood.

Splashfrost brushed past his side and raced to the beach.

For a moment, he questioned why they were acting like apprentices for the sake of fun. He didn't mind, but it was certainly strange. Darting after, he keeps steadily to left at her hip. "Don't wear yourself down before we even get there!" He jokes a bit, keeping an eye on her speed.

Splashfrost unsheathes her claws to get a better grip of the ground. "I'll beat you!", she hissed before reaching the sand. She skidded, turning sideways to stop her self as a wave rolled up to her haunches.

As soon as the sand squishes between his toes, he breaks a right and slows down to a walking pace; circling back to the she-cat. "Think I caught a twig between my toes." He lies, half-heartedly shaking his paws. "Round one to the speedy cheetah over here."
