Excitement was boiling inside of me. "What's your name?" I asked the white she-fox. "I'm Kayla. If I join the Clan I want to be called Lilackit. I like lilacs. They're really pretty. Do you want to know why I was living alone? My mama abandoned me. I can't remember her very well though. If I join the Clan would I get to sleep in the nursey because I'm four moons? Would I get a new mama there to look after me?" The questions spilled out of my mouth, lost form my control.

{Whitepaw is taking Kayla to the leader's den to see if Kayla can join the clan. Kayla is bombarding Whitepaw with questions. If Kayla joins she wants her name to be Lilackit (and when a warrior Lilacbreeze). That's all I really know that is happening. }

Mistystar sat silently outside her den.

The moon was high, and the sky dark, only a few warriors of Silver Pelt were noticeable. Slowly she padded out of her den, her amazing, sea blue eyes fixed on the warriors above. She relied on her nose to take her towards the Fresh-kill pile, not relying on her other senses. Eventually she made her way to it, silently sitting down, and neatly wrapped her tail around her paws. She quickly pulled out a plump bird, then returned her gaze back to the Star Clan warriors, her mind bombarded with messages, and different voice of the warriors that occupied the stary territory.

I saw a she cat sitting at the pile of fresh kill. I prodded the white she fox in front of me. "Is that the leader?" I whispered.

"She is" The white fox answered. "Go, and my name is Whitepaw" She whispered.

I nervously approached Mistystar. "Um, hello," I mewed. "Can I please join the clan? I am four moons old so in two moons I could be an apprentice, and my name is Kayla, but if I join the clan can I be Lilackit? And if I go to the nursery will I get a mama? My real mama abandoned me, " I spilled out.

Mistystar suddenly spun around as a small voice began to introduce itself. She watched contently, giving the small kit her full attention. She nodded slowly, in acknowledgement, though there were some down falls to the kit's plan. "I am sorry," She whispered, "But you are not able to choose your name, the Clan, you new parents, will come to an agreement for you." She purred softly, hoping that the kit was happy to finally feel excepted.

"So I can join?" I mewed excitedly. "When can you announce it to the clan and officially make me a member? Can you do it now?" I asked, bouncing around with joy and excitement.
