Dark sat on a cloud not too far away from Lain, looking down at Karrie. His ears flattened on his head and he looked away slightly, not knowing what to do. He wondered why he had been taken away from his mate, the one closest and dearest to him...Even though Darkla had talked with the Wolves of Judgement, and he had tried to hold on for the pups, and for Karrie, he was still taken away. Dark stood up and turned away, his head lowered as tears rolled down his face. Why?..

Dark looked over his shoulder at Lain, silent for a few moments. "Karrie..."

Lain lookws confused. "Karrie?" he said. He padded over to where Dark was, looking down. "Is Karrie the crazy gray wolf who just jumped into the lake?"

Crazy grey wolf that just jumped into a lake?! Dark looked over the cloud again and tilted his head slightly. "Yeah." What on earth is she doing?! He looked closer and saw Lavender and Ink. I wonder what's been happening...

Lain peered at Dark closely. "You know, you look kinda familiar. Are you related to that Darkla kid that shows up once in awhile?"

"I'm her father." Dark replied, looking at Lain. "I'm also the father of Willow, Ink, Bartimaedus and Yuki...I think Barti and Yuki have already forgotten me, though..."

Lain looked down again. "Man, that must suck. Your own pups don't remember you." he said. "Eh. You get used to it. You know how long I've been up here? Hundreds of years. I used to visit once in awhile, but not the Council is being all strict and stuff about that. Now you actually have to get permission from them to go to Earth."
