Fernpaw nodded and, smiling, followed her mentor. "Am I learning anything new, or just practicing?" she asked eagerly.

Eaglestorm walked out of the camp and stood for a little bit, thinking. "Let's go over into the denser part of the woods. I don't think anyone has been there in at least a quarter moon."

Rainsong sat around camp.

Fernpaw nodded, but then understood what her mentor had just said. "Secret?" she asked, in awe.

"Secret." Nodded gravely Emeraldstar. She headed for the medicine cat den and called inside "Musicpaw? Did you prepare the herbs I told you to?" "Yes, emeraldstar." A musical voice replied and a young she-cat appeared with herbs in her paw. She instructed Fernpaw "Eat these. Emeraldstar, Calicopelt has eaten her's and is waiting for you near the entrance." Emeraldstar and stood while waiting for Fernpaw to eat her traveling herbs.

Emeraldstar headed over to the entrance of camp where a beatiful she-cat stood, and the she-cat said "Hiya! I'm a bit young, you may have not heard of me, but I'm... CALICOPELT!" She said, her eyes glimmering with humourous laughter.
