Snowtail manages to catch another mouse and two squirrels. She gathers her catch and carries it back to camp. After dropping it in the fresh-kill pile, Snowtail smooths her ruffled fur.

Puddlepaw
Puddlepaw awoke from inside of the apprentice den. She lifted her head up gently, taking a casual glance around the den. She spotted Whitepaw and Stormpaw chatting away. She got to her paws silently, squinting when slanted shafts of sunlight peeking past the ferns blazed in her eyes. Her tail lashed from side to side when she exited. She gave Adderpaw a curt nod before heading over to the fresh kill pile. Puddlepaw selected a small, dusky brown vole. She took it over to a small patch of grass and started to eat it slowly.

Smokekit
Smokekit slept soundly in the nursery. He had his small, bushy tail wrapped around his nose and covering his eyes. His flanks rose and fell with each breath. Suddenly, he opened one eye. The sunlight had flitered through and shone directly into his striking golden hued eyes. He let out a small yawn, stretching out his slender limbs. He lied his head back down on the soft nest of feathers. Today would be a wonderful day.

Adderpaw...

The tom looked over at Puddlepaw tilting his head not really minding the other lite apprentice, to be honest with himself. The she-cat kind of reminded him of his sister, Stormpaw. Ack, who would like Stormpaw? Anyways, the young apprentice nodded and glanced around; quickly the tom stared at the Fresh-Kill pile as he began to wonder if he should find a few cats to go on a hunting patorl.

Puddlepaw
Puddepaw ate half of her vole, then frowned. She was full, but didn't want to waste the prey. She glanced over her shoulder at the nursery, knowing that Smokekit was most likely awake and starving. She flicked her tail twiced, then sighed. "Smokekit- come here," She meowed. Puddlepaw laughed when the gray fluff ball came bounding into the center of camp to her, his eyes wide and bright like always. "Here," She slid him the rest of the vole, smiling, "Eat this for me,"

Smokekit
"Well, okay, Puddlepaw!" The small tom purred loudly. He adored the older she-cat and saw her like an older sibling. He bent down and started to chew on the vole, scarfing it down quickly. On the left side of him, his fluffy coat was lyring flat, and the other side was sticking straight out from the way he fell asleep. After devouring the rest of Puddlepaw's meal, he sat down and gave his chest a quick rasp of the tongue. "What are we doing today?" He asked in the high-pitched mew that was his voice.

Berrypaw...

The smaller she-cat was out of the apprentice's den grooming herself, she heard voices seeing a kit and Puddlepaw. She giggled and quickly made her way over to the two, she raised her head and looked around before smiling at the two. "Hey! What are you guys doing?" She noticed that Smokekit was out of the den, and it was good he wasn't alone or else RunningPool would start to bark at him for being himself.

Snowtail looks up towards Ripplestar's den. She cocks her head, wondering why he wasn't out. She ignored it and stood. Snowtail observed the fresh-kill pile and selected a fat vole for herself. She carried it by the tail to a shady spot and began to eat.

Smokekit
He looked up at Berrypaw with his wide kit-eyes. "I dunno. I just asked the same thing," He mewed with a laugh. His smile reached his eyes and his tail flicked with energy that was bursting inside of him. His whiskers quivered and he shuffled his paws lightly. He looked over at Puddlepaw, waiting for an answer.

Puddlepaw
Puddlepaw shrugged her shoulders as if she didn't care or didn't know, possibly both. She smiled down at the kit, then looked up at the younger apprentice. "I don't know about you two, but I'm going hunting." With a flick of her tail, she turned on her heels and headed over to the leader's den to ask permission.
