Cisco: Valion: Alpha Male
The wolf sat at the entrance of his den. His den was the highest among the rocky cliff. It wasn't far off the ground, but the other wolves' den were scattered around the falling rocks and boulders that littered the base of the massive cliff that stood as a barrier to the north. From the male's den, he could see where Valion's resting and gathering place ended and the forest took over. Beyond the forest are acres of field land where the Sentinal pack hunted. The forest spread after the field, but, each pack perfered either the fields or the forest. The hunting grounds started at the border and spread back towards the home of each pack. For Valion, it was mostly forest and cliffs. For Sential, it was a field at the base of the mountain, then forest that spread throughout their land. Cisco's eyes traveled over what he could see from his advatage point. The large boulder he was perched on helped his eyesight out by rising him over the other rocks.
The Alpha sat there untill he could hear the mid afternoon chatter of his wolves. They were aware of their current situation, hopefully. It was obvious that this wasn't their real home. Before, the Valion pack nevere had to really worry about borders, the threat of another pack, or even the cation that was needed when out and about. Part of it was because of the other pack, but soemthing bigger and larger was more of a threat. Humans were forcing his wolves, Cisco's pack, closer to strangers. Pushing Cisco to his breaking point. They couldn't fight these creatures, the wolves were out numbered. It worried the male. As he sat there on the rock, his ears twitching ever so slightly at the small chit chat. His eyes zoned out as they starred at the forest. The trouble that these humans were causing was on his mind always. Always in the back of his mind, picking slowly away at his patience. Cisco didn't like it one bit. He hated when he cracked under pressure. Thankfully, he had Viron to do that. It was Viron's job to crack down his his pack mates. It once had been Cisco's job, but now he just got to make the orders and have his Beta carry them out.
Cisco jumped down from his spot as he figured he should start making plans for the day. A hunt would have to be done, but not untill later today. Still, he could figure out who was going. He knew that Akiva and Kyros woiuld be going as they were the only for sure hunters. Some of the fighters would have to go along if the pack wanted big game. The fighters are larger then the hunters, but they could help seperate the prey from it's herd and make sure the small hunters wouldn't get hurt or somethign along those lines. Hey, even Viron could go. Speaking of which, where was the Beta? Best to over the plans with him. Plus, they had over things to discuss such as deciding what they should do wtih the Sentinal pack. They were too close in Cisco's mind. Viron did have the job of remarking parts of the border in the morning, so he should be close by camp now. The Alpha headed towards the waterfall as the wolf would probably enjoy a drink after all morning out and about.
As the male neared the water sorce, his tail raised slightly to show his dominance. It was natural to Cisco to show a sign of his authority when approaching a wolf. Untill he had the Beta insight did his tail low. The Valion alpha also noticed Draven greeting Viron at the water. He merely gave a nod to the fighter as the Alpha reache dthe to on the other side of the fall. Cisco wadded into the small pool up to his ankels as he took his own drink. It was mostly just lazy days around here with the pack. It would have been peacful if only the Alpha didn't have to worry about the threats toward his pack, "Greetings Viron and Draven." the wolf said as he raised his head from the water. Cisco's amber eyes first met Viron's and then Draven's, "It's good that your here Draven, as I wanted to discus with Viron about tonight's hunt. There's a lack of hutners lately, so I assum that it wouldn't be a probably if you and another tagged along with tonight's hunt? Your job would help out Akiva and Kyros witht he hunt aswell as helping bring back the kill. If you have any questions, ask Viron here." he said, not bothering asking Draven if he wanted to go along or not. Cisco picked his way out of the water before addressing Viron, "Did you smell anything this mornign while you re-marked the border?" the alpha questioned. If the answer was no, it would help with Cisco's worries about the humans and Sentinal wolves.
Nike: Fighter/Hunter: Valion
Nike woke up from her slumber into the mid afternoon. Normally, she would have been up witht he others, but the female had stayed up late last night watching over the camp. Instead of standing up walking out of her den, the fighter stretched her paws way out into front of her untill they reached the adge of her den, and then sank her claws into the ground and pulled the rest of her body forward. She slithered out of her den and popped up on all fours. Giving herself a good shake, the female continued to stretch her body. She moved into a play bow position while giving a yawn. By the looks of Nike, one would think she was a hunter. In fact, she probably should be. She did even begin hunter training when she was younger. When she found out that she would only be hunting, and be the second one in line for fights, Nike let the current alpha have it. She didn't want to be a hunter mostly, she wanted to be out there on the battle field, she wanted to be the first choice. He offical rank though is both. The Valion pack needed hunters, so she stepped up to the plate, but she did insist to also be one of the first group of wolves to be contacted when a battle is planned to be carried out.
Nike stretched out her back legs and winced when her spine give a pop when she bent forward enough to exert pressure on the kink. Now satisfied, Nike scanned the area for her fellow pack mates. For now, it would just be time to hide from the rising sun and relax untill night fell, that's where all the action went on. Then the sun would be gone and hunting would be begin.
Clayton: Hunter/Fighter: Sentinal
Clayton picked his way along the edge of the hunting fields. Everyonce in awhile, he would scent a tree or two around the edge of the field. Jus treminders for those who wanted to travel into Sentinal lands. He didn't go crazsy with re-marking as the prey that lived off of the field could smell the marking aswell. As CLay reached the edge of the forest that would lead up towards the southern end of the drinking stream, he cast a look over his shoulder to see the faded outlines of elk and deer that lingered at the other side. The prey ventured out of the saftey of the trees because of the lush grass that grew in the fields. The male turned and picked up the pace as he moved his way up towards the stream that would quench his thrist.
Reaching the stream, Clayton moved into the water up to his mid calf as that's how far it would go. In other parts of the stream, the water was deeper and other areas shallower. The wolf bent his head down and had his tounge lash out at the water and flick back into his mouth. He stood in the stream, enjoying the cool sensation on his paws and forelegs. Bunching his legs together, Clayton hopped to the other side once he decided to move on. Jaws parted open slighty as Clayton followed the stream up towards the gully. The pack member quickly scented some of his pack. He would have to cross their path in order to go back to camp, which was just some few quick bounds from the group. As Clayton exited the brush that had blocking hsi view of who he would be meeting, he found the original three scents he had scented belonged to Delta, Rowen, and Aeolus. Those three Clayton liked most of the time They didn't really rub Clay the wrong way. As he was about the great the three, he noticed more movement coming from camp. Turning his head, the wolf noticed the figures of the Alphess and the Beta, the Alpha wasn't far behind.
Now Clayton wasn't really close with the Alpha or Alphess, but out of respect, he tolerated them. The other figure though, Daimon, was the one that made him mently groan. He didn't trust Daimon. He didn't chat much with the other male, probably mostly Clay's fault. He didn't enjoy the Beta's presence much. The hunter didn't have much of a reason not too, besides that fact that he never really had a friendly vibe from the wolf.
