Manestar saw Miststar stiffen. He stayed still but he couldn't stop his tail from twitching.

MistStars gaze swept across the forest, but she couldnt see much. She looked uo at the sky, seeing as it now was growing dark. Before glancing back to make sure she want being followed, she headed towards the river that seperated the two territorys. she finally came to it, and sat down on her side of the river, but looking off onto the other side.
((there is a river inbetween the two clans, where one side of it belongs to starclan, and the other too duskclan.

Manestar dropped from his tree and sat at the edge of the treeline, looking straight at Miststar. He sat tall and imperious, tail over his forepaws. It was shadowy behind him so it helped for him to look every bit, the leader he was.

MistStar didnt seem surprised. Her gaze swept upward, seeing Manestar across the river. Her heart sped, and a small smile flashed across her face. She quick turned so he wouldnt see. this isnt right she thought to herself, but looked up anyway. She sat there, motionless, unable to speak.

Manestar stared back at her. He felt strange when he looked at her. This shouldn't be happening! I'm not supposed to love her. I have to stay loyal to my clan! His paws dragged him forward till he was at the rivers edge.

Miststar's eyes were locked on Manestar. She watched helplessley as he moved closer. She unsheathed her claws incase he tried anything, but she let him come as close as he wanted

Manestar bent his head to drink the cool river water. He noticed Miststar unsheathing her claws. He continued to lap up the water. He sat up tall again and then almost smiled.

Miststar let her emotions take over, and she smiled, a faint blush covering her fur.

Manestar wanten to rush over to her, but he held himself back. He felt an urge to say something but he couldn't think of anything to say. He suddenly blurted out, "I love you, Miststar." He was a little taken aback by what he said.

Miststar's paw flew up to clutch her heart, and she gasped. "i-i-" she sighed, and looked away. "its not right" she whispered, puttinf her paw in the water and looking at her reflection.
