"Yeah, he's ran off again." She sighed to the Umbreon. "I'm 'fraid he must be near the edge of the forest. could'a gone off anywhere- the forest edge leads to the rest of the island, and confusing ground isn't the bes' thing for a blind child. Oh, Dennis... If we're lucky, he's still in the forest. If you're willing to come with me, i'm going to search for them." Without waiting for an answer, she searched deeper into the forest. After a few minutes, a shape appeared, making itself to be a Deino dragging a Riolu by the arm.
"Dennis! Where have you been- who is this?? Dennis, let him go! Oh, i'm so so sorry, Dennis!! What did you do? Why are you dragging him?" She cried in relief, wrapping her arms around the child.

He continued dragging his presumed 'orphan,' jumping over tree roots. He stopped, trying to get his bearings, and bit a few trees. He found the split tree, knowing where he was, and grabbed Cerulean again. Once they got closer to the orphanage, he loosened his grip and slowed to a walk. "So, you're an orphan right? Mom is going to be so happy! She takes care of the orphans and we didn't have any orphans for a while so I can't wait for you to see her!" Just then, his mother appeared, and wrapped her small arms around him. He let the Riolu go and wagged his stubby tail. "Momma, momma! I found an orphan! I found an orphan and we can take care of him and I can have a playmate!"

Muddy noticed a few figures in the trees, but decided to be quiet. She doesn’t have the most... welcoming appearance.

She kept up her habit of hopping, climbing, and gliding in her desire to reach the berry tree, stomach starting to rumble even more until suddenly a stench of garbage invaded her senses as she was in the middle of a glide. Catching her off guard she looked down, noticing a Garbodor was walking. She saw a Flygon earlier, but never thought a Pokemon like that would be wandering in a forest as they mainly were found in cities or landfills. "What is a Garbodor do-" *SMACK*. Archie wasn't paying attention and slammed into the tree trunk face first, falling down and painfully hitting the ground with a painful thud.

Using what strength she could muster, Archie managed to flip herself over and stand up with wobbly legs. Miracously, her body seemed to be intact. Well, until she noticed her beak. It was badly bruised, and even appeared to be a little bent at an angle. "Gosh darn it, did I bruise my beak?" She lifted up her wing and tapped her snout with a claw, letting out a small sound of pain as she turned and looked at the Garbodor. The smell was more stronger, but with her snout basically damaged she wasn't getting as much as the stench as earlier. Hopping forwards ignoring the small bouts of shooting pain, she began to follow the Garbodor. "Um, excuse me. Do you know if there's a doctor or something, around here? I'm afraid my beak is bent and bruised." She acted chill and calm, but inside she was in pain and feeling embarrassed due to the fact she smacked into a tree.

XXXXXXXXX"Hm.." He mumbled as he listened to the deino chatter. Then, not to long after, a large flygon appeared in front of them. Intimidated, he clutched his bandana tight with a cautious look. 'All i wanted to do was climb a tree which is who knows where now.. he thought with a sigh. Cerulean watched the flygon cautiously, but all she seemed to do was scold Dennis. 'Hmm. Perhaps she isn't as threatening as i thought she'd be...'

"Huh? O-oh, it's fine!" He smiled as he loosened his grip. He was still very confused about the 'orphanage', and if there was such thing around here. "Dennis, huh? I'm Cerulean! But feel free to call me Ceru. I hope you don't mind me asking... But what do you mean by orphan?" Cerulean asked.

XXXXXXXXXAfter all the berries were eaten and moved to a different pile, Kicks hopped from his tree branch and picked a random path to go. Eventually, he found a forest clearing with a large hollowed out log around the edges. He stared at it for a while before approaching it to check if anyone was in it. Fortunately, there wasn't, but he had to gather materials before he could call it home.

The blue marked black fox like creature nodded as he looked up at her. "Lets go find him," he said, twitching his ears and tail a bit. He then watched her to off, and he quickly followed after the Flygon. He smiled as he saw the little deino, relieved just like Nessie was. He hummed a canine sound as he looked at the other child there. "An orphan is...someone with no parents, well no living parents."

Muddy took a step back.
“I don’t know to be honest. I’m sorry if I scared you. I’ll try finding help. Follow me.”
Muddy started to walk towards the orphanage, hoping someone there could help.

Archie listened to her, and nodded. The berries could wait later, after all she couldn't eat them with the current status of her back. "It's fine, probably my fault for not paying attention ahead of me." She let out a small laugh, trying to lighten the mood. Noticing Muddy beginning to leave, the Archen followed behind her, but not too close as to give her some personal space. "I wonder where she's taking me.." she thought to herself, but soon she would be able to find out.

"Well, pleased to make your acquaintance, Cerulean. Dennis, don't be rude!" She gathered the excited child next to her, giving him a tamato berry to keep him calm. "Although, you don't happen to, well, BE an orphan, now, do you?" She asked, sizing the unevolved Riolu. He was about the same height as Dennis (yes I did search that up), so he wasn't too far away from what seemed to be orphan status. "Well, I think we better get to a better spot. How about I take you to my orphanage, so we can get a little more settled and I can get Dennis away." With that, she started walking back to her home, letting Dennis bite on her tail as he followed.

"Can we keep the orphan, momma? Can we? Can we?" He wagged his tail harder and sat as his mother pulled him next to her, chomping quickly on the berry. He listened to the conversation but he didn't take much notice while he trotted around his mother in circles. She got up, and said she was going back to the orphanage, to which he followed. "Ooh, yay! We're taking the orphan back!" Dennis exclaimed, grabbing onto the three flat tail-tips of his mother's tail.

XXXXXXXXXCerulean released his grip on his bandana, feeling calmer and safer. Well- he was still unsure about Dennis and his biting habit. He wondered if he bit anyone else, or bitten stuff that wasn't meant to be eaten. It took him a moment to process the question, then another moment to think about the answer. "I-if what the umbreon said about being an orphan is true.. then, I-i mean- i guess so..." He mumbled. Cerulean felt like he needed to clutch his bandana again as he felt embarrassed about stuttering, but for some reason, he restrained. The riolu perked up when Nessie said they could go somewhere else. "A-alright!" He said with a sheepish smile.

Muddy arrived at the orphanage.
“Someone here should be able to help you- and there’s nobody here...”
