Ivorypaw is a pale seal-point tom with blue eyes~
{Tom} {10 Moons} {Apprentice} {No romantic intrest} {Mentor: Smokefeather} {Location: Camp} {Mentions: ~} {Tags: Smokefeather}
Ivorypaw decided that if his mentor wasn't going to follow him he would hunt for himself. He began to pad away until he
stopped as his mentor stood over him. He glanced up into the tom's bright yellow eyes. He was about to give him a piece of his
mind until he heard his mentor's words. He was shocked when he had finished. His blue eyes searched the warrior for a moment
his tail twitching. Did he know the warrior code? Of course, he did! He closed his eyes for a moment before opening them again.
He needed to think this through. What should he say to him? His mind spun for a moment longer before he had his answer.
Ivorypaw's ears twitched as he prepared to speak. Gazing into his mentor's piercing gaze he spoke. "Smokefeather I know the warrior code. And of course I know about Fraystar's endless rambling about the warrior code. How important it is and how you must follow it. Yes yes I know all of that Smokefeather. Also, I might have been able to know what you we're asking if you phrased your question differently. Make sure you do that next time. I hope you aren't like that around other cats Smokefeather. I don't know how they would handle it. Anyway Smokefeather I know the warrior code like I said before. Do you? I hope so. Because it wouldn't be good if you didn't. Anyway what about the warrior code? What does it have to do with hunting? Nothing really. Also, if your so fond of the warrior code you should know that we should be hunting for the clan. Not wasting time talking. Don't you think so too Smokefeather? I think you understand but then again I don't. Also, if you don't want to go hunting I'll just go by myself. I don't need an old cat like you slowing me down anyway. I could hunt much faster without you. You know? Don't feel bad though Smokefeather I'm sure one of the other warriors would go hunting with you. I wonder who though. Do you know anyone that might want to go hunting with you? Yes? No? I certainly don't. Anyway I should get going. If you want to come, you can. But just know I won't wait for an old cat like you to catch up. So, come on! Or not. Which ever one you, want to do." And with that he took a step away from his mentor. He then padded around him and out of the camp. He then turned around gazing back at his mentor. "Don't worry Smokefeather! I'll make sure I'll catch you something too! Maybe a mouse or something. A thrush maybe? Or maybe something like a vole. Oh! Or a rabbit! If I could, find one. Hey Smokefeather! Do you know any good spots to hunt for rabbits are? Yes? No? Probably not. Maybe you, don't remember. Because if you could remember things, you would remember that I know the warrior code. Anyway enough chatting. I have some hunting to do!" So, Ivorypaw turned away from the entrance and began to bound off into the forest. Searching for prey.

Copperfang slowed her lope, drinking in the cold air with a look of concentration. An acrid taste niggled at the back of her throat, and she sent a quizzical look at Fraystar. "Fox?" She hissed back, her ears flicking with unease. The snow was muffling most of the scent, but there was still a heady undercurrent on the breeze.
The silence of the rest of the forest was unnerving, and Copperfang tensed, every nerve buzzing with coiled anticipation. Perhaps going out with a measly patrol of two wasn't the best idea they'd had. She edged closer to Fraystar, her eyes trained on the still undergrowth. If there was a fox on the territory, she wasn't eager to meet it, but that didn't mean she wasn't ready to send it running with its tail between its legs.

βββ"if I claim to be a wise man, it surely means that I don't know"
" 'Kay," Pepperpaw dipped his head, taking in the rambled herbs she listed off. He doubted things would be flowering with the blanket of snow on the territory, but it couldn't hurt to keep an eye out, right? "I'll look 'round, next time me 'n Puffinheart go out. 'Specially for catmint. Sounds important." His meow tapered off at the end, and the conversation stagnated into awkward silence. Pepperpaw looked away and twitched his tail. Normally, he couldn't keep his maw shut; this time, he couldn't think of anything to say.
Rather than rouse his tongue, he swept his gaze over camp. He spied Puffinheart finally; his mentor was busy eating, so maybe he'd wait until she fetched him rather than pestering her while she ate. He dragged his gaze back to Pigeonpaw again. Clearing his throat, he pondered over what to say next. "Spanglespur's your sister, right?" Pepperpaw was pretty sure she was, but his interaction with the other warriors was minimal at best. He had seen the fiesty she-cat around Pigeonpaw, before, however, and the pair looked pretty similar.

βββββββββββββββ"fare thee well, my honey, fare thee well"
Luckystorm quieted a grumble, trying to not let the she-cat get a rise out of him. Instead, he lashed his tail and raised his chin. "Maybe not, but I can give you a lashing strong enough to maybe knock some sense into your head. Out there," he jutted his chin at the land outside the clan territory, "has just as much prey, if not more, as we have. And it's yours for the taking. Here, well, that's just flirting with danger."
He paced closer to the loner, letting his fur bristle and give him the illusion of height. He was small in comparison to some of the clan's other toms, but he was still tall enough to stand over the she-cat. "Now, I'll give you one more chance to turn around." He threatened, pulling his lip back to bare his teeth. The show felt a little half-hearted, though, because his feet were cold and tingling, and the loner didn't look so much afraid as much as annoyed.
