"don't stop trying- even if you fail the first time. it takes practice," he meowed to his brother. he purred, watching the kit grasp the ball of rolled up moss in his jaws. the tom's eyes glittered with happiness. the little tom showed his long, yellow teeth to his brother. "can i kill prey with these?" he asked. "yea, follow me. lets go catch a mouse," flintpaw answered. Flintpaw had never been hunting before, though he realized he had to show his brother how great of a hunter the kit was. Pebblekit followed at his heels. "lets stop here," he spoke to the kit at his side. pebblekit happily laughed. the jet black kit lunged at a flying leaf as if it were a rabbit trying to escape from it's lunge.
"wait!" flintpaw panicked. the tom rolled down the hill, aiming for the open gorge that lie ahead. "stop!" he hissed, mad at his brother. as he caught ahead, the young cat jumped between the gorge and the leaf. he unsheathed his claws and dug them into the dirt below. he glared into the sky, watching his life flash before his eyes. flintpaw felt panting beside him- the kit! flintpaw shook the thought out and immediately watched the kit smile. "that was awesome!" he purred. flintpaw immediately got up and grabbed the kit's scruff. "wasnt too much for me to handle," he lied, purring.

introvert, will have fun if he wants. knows how to swim, and taught himself how to hunt (after the pebblekit incident, Flintpaw took his brother out to hunt again, and succeeded, catching a mouse each.)

his mother and step father died during the earthquake. luckily, flintpaw rescued his brother and his father had escaped. bee, his father, did not want to join the clan, though he watches over his sons secretly.

"i dont want to leave my brother!" flintpaw whined. winter had been visiting a rogue- black claw. they had become mates and gave birth to pebble. to eclipse, he looked sketchy. he acted nothing like his first dad, who had left to become a rogue and can no longer take care of them. "sorry hon, but we each have to take care of each other."
later, the rogue left with pebble. "i dont trust him!" eclipse hissed and whined to his mother. "ive been with him. he is perfect for your step brother," winter purred. "pebble will be fine. it's his father taking care of him , anyway. " pawsteps crackled the bushes.
"it's us!" a tom purred from behind. a black paw stepped forward with a grey paw. "Pebble!" eclipse happily yowled. he ran to his brother. "be careful! he isnt even a moon old yet," black claw meowed. eclipse silently snarled, showing his little fangs.
a rumble shook the floor. "what is that?" pebble questioned. Eclipse paused, then answered "earthquake!" he looked to his mother.
"what do we do?" winter shrugged. "ive never been in one." black claw yowled "go inside!" Eclipse knew this was a bad idea, but the two mates were already inside. "No! Come out!" he yowled. Suddenly, the roof collapsed on top of the mates. "No! Winter! eclipse yowled. he ran as fast as his little paws could run. with pebble on his back, he scanned the dust and rubbish along the grass. "there they are," pebble meowed to his step brother. he flicked his tail, pointing to a pile of rocks and roof.
eclipse padded over the rubbish and headed toward the collapsed roof. "Mom?" he asked. he pawed the dust away, and hidden under the dust were two bodies, exactly their parents. "Mom!" immediately he started to press on her stomach. In and out the stomach went, but no breathing.
he knew they were gone.
a moon later, eclipse and his step brother were sharing a vole. they had buried their parents and headed off to live with bee, eclipse's first father. Since the earthquake, Pebble had not said a word. "I know a place where you two can stay," bee interrupted their breakfast. "There is this group of cats over by that clearing," he flicked his tail and pointed to a line of cherry trees near large hills. "You ought to go live with them. I can't take care of you two." Eclipse meowed, "i dont wanna leave you!" but he knew his step brother did. "It'll be a better life. Infact, you wont be new- because I know the clan is new. They will accept you." Bee was veru good at reasoning, because his step brother looked as if he wanted to leave. "I guess. You will still be here, wont you?" he asked. Bee nodded. "Of course. If you need me, ill be here. "
The two cats headed off after they said goodbye. Every moon they visit, making sure their dad is in good health. They will never forget their mother and step father. Flintpaw - to this day wishes he had accepted his step father, as he knows he will never see him again since he lived as a rogue. Bee, on the other hand, will go to StarClan- find out why in the roleplay.
