Mousestar leaped onto the highrock. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey join me!" He yowls. He stood at the end of the highrock, waiting patiently.

Moorkit poked her head out of the nursery. She was 6 moons old, her leader's yowl was for her, and one other kit. She forgot his name, like usual.

Ashpaw padded from the den, trying to urge herself to hurry. She would be going to get her Medicine Cat powers and name soon, and she wanted to rest before she left.

"By naming apprentices, we show that MoonClan will survive and remain strong, Moorkit, from now on, you will be known as Moorpaw, Tinyfeather, you are ready for an apprentice, you will be Moorpaw's mentor" He announced, looking to the crowd of cats for Moorkit- paw.

Moorpaw emerged from the nursery, leaving her mother behind. "Alright!" She yowled.

The slim silver tabby laughed as Moorkit scrambled over. ``Well done, Moorpaw!``

She looked at the med. cat app. "T- thank you!" She forced a smile.

"Ashpaw! do you promise to take in the ways of a medicince cat, and stand apart from the rivalry between Clan and Clan, and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost of your life?" He looked down at the apprentice, waiting for an answer. His face seemed paler than usual.

``I do, Mousestar, at the cost of my life and more.`` Ashpaw's voice rang out, strong and clear.
