"Of course, Cherrystar." Jaggedfang mewed, getting back to his paws and looking over at Snowblossom. "You're with me." He mewed before looking around for Blackwhisker and Blizzardpelt. The chocolate brown tom noted that Blackwhisker was talking to Shrewnose by the elders den so he decided to keep looking for Blizzardpelt before he bothered the black and white tom.

Jaggedfang moved through his clanmates once he caught sight of Blizzardpelt. "Blizzardpelt, you're coming with me, Snowblossom and Blackwhisker on a hunting patrol." He mewed before looking over at Snowblossom.

"I was thinking that we could hunt in the patch of trees next to the river."

Flintpaw looked around to see if she could see Firebounce anywhere before replying to Featherpaw. "Yeah, let's go ask." The grey, ginger and white patched apprentice mewed, getting to her paws and padding over to where Cherrystar was still standing.

blizzardpelt looked up when he heard his name and saw jaggedfang approaching him. he gave a quick nod and got back onto his paws and silently followed jaggedfang, giving a nod to his suggestion and staying quiet.

willowpaw smiled back at maplepaw as her cheeks heated a bit. 'i'm doing ok, how about you, maplepaw?" she asked kindly as she swayed her tail across the branch carefully with warm eyes.

he grumbled under his breath as he trudged through the forest, his claws digging into the soft dirt with every step. he scented the air, his stomach growling for food. he flicked his ear and twisted his head, looking towards a mouse scrambling as fast as it could away from the cat. he quickly pounced on it and snapped its spine, licking his lips and eating it, then burying the bones. he smiled in triumph and continued on his hunting trip for more prey.

the she-cat sat at the entrance of the camp, her tail flicking impatiently. she watched as the patrols were planned, silently hoping to be called over. her paws itched to run through the forest but she knew she shouldn't go on a lone hunting trip at dawn. she sighed grumpily but managed to keep a calm and patient look across her face. larkwing licked her paw and wiped her face, trying to distract her impatience. she almost couldn't take sitting in camp like that.

No sooner than she had bent down to take another bite of her mouse, she found herself met with the eager faces Featherpaw and Flintpaw. She swallowed her small mouthful in in a hurry, dipping her head in greeting to the apprentices. "Good morning Featherpaw, Flintpaw, how may I help you?"

Hearing his name called, he gave a brief nod to the elder, before standing up and bidding goodbye. "Looks like I'm needed for a patrol! See you later Shrewnose, and I hope you eat well." he mewed with a smile, before turning tail and heading out of the den toward Jaggedfang. His tail swayed calmly behind him as he stood there, "Hunting or border patrol?"

"Huhwha?"
Awoken with a snort, the she-cat's eyes widened in fear as she was prodded awake, her face being met by the ginger tabby one of Firebounce, her den mate. He calmly informed her that she had overslept, and the calico bounced up in her nest, her fur on end. "Why did nocat wake me earlier?!" she snapped, ignoring the sleepiness in her tone. "Am I needed in a patrol?!"

Maplepaw tilted her head slightly, the soft smile not leaving her muzzle. "I'm doing rather well, thankyou! Anything interesting happening in the Medicine Den?" she asked, a hint of curiosity in her voice as she looked at the pale apprentice. She liked Willowpaw. The tabby was rather friendly, and rather sweet too, just the qualities Maplepaw generally looked for a friend.... Or more. She only wished that they got the chance to talk more often.

"Hunting." Jaggedfang mewed to Blackwhisker, giving the tom a respectful nod before casting a quick glance at Snowblossom and Blizzardpelt. He turned, signaling with his tail for them to follow him before ducking out of camp. "We're hunting in the patch of trees next to the river."

"Since we aren't needed on any patrols, can me and Featherpaw go hunting by ourselves?" Flintpaw asked eagerly, her eyes glimmering slightly. "I'll make sure Featherpaw doesn't get into any trouble." The grey, ginger and white patched she-cat puffed her chest out. Since she was 4 moons older than Featherpaw, she felt like she was responsible for taking care of the younger apprentice if they left camp together.

Brambleheart nodded with a slight smile. "Of course Cherrystar." She turned and gave a smile to the other cats of the group. She glanced around the camp, looking for the border patrol cats. In the distance, she noticed Larkwing. She padded over to her gently and called out her name. "Hello Larkwing, Cherrystar told me to gather you for a border patrol. Do you know where Emberfall and Troutpaw are? I haven't seen them about this morning."

As the sun rised over the camp, the young tom pushed himself up out of his nest. Looking around, he assumed that he slept in late which wasn't too good. He padded softly out of the warriors section of the territory. He briefly heard his name in a conversation nearby and he turned his head to see Brambleheart and Larkwing. "Good morning," he mewed softly. "May I ask, am I on patrol?" He grinned.

Sagepaw was sitting alone quietly. She saw two apprentices in the corner of her eye and slowly pushed herself up and padded over to them and tilted her head gently to the side. "What are you two doing?" she questioned, her voice sweet and shy.

blizzardpelt watched all of the cats on the patrol gather together, and looked to jaggedfang as he spoke. he followed him out of camp, looking over his shoulder at the following cats.

larkwing stood up with a smile as she heard her name called for patrol. she approached brambleheart with a smile. "hmm, emberfall is..." she looked over and saw emberfall. '"there!" she said and looked around for troutpaw. she shrugged and made her way toward the apprentices den and poked her head into the apprentices den to look for troutpaw.

Just as she opened her mouth to respond, the tabby was met with the softer eyes of Sagepaw. Dipping her head in greeting to the she-cat, an idea sparked into her head. "Featherpaw, Flintpaw, I would prefer it if you didn't go alone, but, since Sagepaw is here, and will most likely be going for her Warrior Assessment soon, would it be okay if she went with you?" She mewed with a soft smile, dropping eye contact and gazing around camp.
"I could possibly even see if Firebounce or Redflame would mind coming along to keep an eye on all of you three, you can't seem to trust three cheeky apprentices going out by themselves, can you?" A slight hint of humour made its way into the she-cat's meow, something rather rare to happen to the usually serious tabby.



Blackwhisker

Nodding, the black and white Tom followed Jaggedfang and the rest of the patrol out of camp, his pawsteps landing on the soft newleaf grass with next to no sound. He kept his eyes open for any signs of prey as they exited the camp and began making their way towards the river.
Parting his jaws slightly, he scented the air, and an unfamiliar scent filled his senses that wasn't prey or one of Fawnclan. He frowned slightly, turning his gaze towards Jaggedfang. "D-Does anyone else smell that?" he asked curiously.

"Training is going well, might I say!" the calico mewed with a smile, giggling lightly. "I hope that Cherrystar will be able to give me my warrior name soon, I honestly can't wait!" Pausing momentarily, she continued, "I'd like my name to probably be something like Maplemist or Maplestream, since, swimming seems to be the only thing I'm good at!" The she-cat giggled, shutting her eyes for a second, the tip of her tail twitching in amusement.
"What do you reckon your Medicine Cat name would be?"

His eyes flickering open, the tabby blinked a few times as sunlight began streaming into his cave. The eerie silence and emptiness left a sickening, empty feeling in his stomach. It had been barely a moon since he had lost Mark, his best friend, and what he had hoped for more. Shutting his eyes momentarily as he heaved a sigh and stood up, arching his back and stretching his legs. After a few moments of silence, the tabby padded out of his cave, but not to hunt. Making his way to a mound of dirt by the river, he dipped his head, sitting down in front of it and placing his paw gently on the dirt, blinking tears away from his eyes.

FalconLeap's tail twitched, the movement, noise rather, of the other clan members made him begin to wake up.One of his green colored hues peeled open, pupils dilating as the sun shone in it.It took a moment for the tom to get himself up, stretching his hand legs as far back as possible before stretching his front legs, a rather casual morning yawn escaped his maw as he did so.
Flicking his ears FalconLeap padded ever so silently out of the warriors den, noticing cats going on patrol he perked his audits, making his way over to CherryStar,"'Morning CherryStar."Purring gently he then added,"I noticed cats, seemingly going on patrol, and or hunting.I was curious to see if there's anything I'm needed to do as of right now."FalconLeap had noticed a few 'paws asking something about them being able to hunt by themselves, watching CherryStar he noticed the humour in her words, which he didn't think he'd hear humour in her voice, but maybe it was something she does, just rarely, or something like so.Lashing his tail he patiently waited.

Beethorn shook out his fur and yawned. He was feeling really tired. Sighing, he curled up to get a quick nap.

Toadshadow padded out of the warriors den, hoping to get on a patrol and help the clan.
