[ᴄᴀʀʀᴏᴛᴄᴀᴋᴇ.]

Tria yelped as a tree sawyed near her. She was quickly drenched in cold, heavy rain. "YES! I'M NOT A FAILUER!" She screamed into the sky, as happy as ever. It felt so good to say it, and she smiled and ran back up. Soon the ground was soft and mushy with mud, and she slipped. Her claws dug in as she reached the top. Her fur was plastered to her face, and her tail dragged in the mud. She needed to find Ara. She padded off in the direction she had gone to make sure she was undercover.

Ara had curled up asleep in the mud, tail wrapped over her nose. She breathed a deep breath now and then, but she was exhausted. In better days she could have done that without batting an eye, but she was older now. She would often think bitterly to herself that by the time you knew enough to use a Weaver's gifts, you had little energy to do it with. Her ears flicked as she heard some one come closer and she hauled herself to her feet slowly and began shaking the mud out of her fur with determined shudders. "Hello." She said wearily, not bothering to address the Healer by name or title. She sat down again heavily, yellow eyes tired. "I will be in my den." The leader said softly and loped off, grass springing from where her feet had stepped in the mud.

[ᴄᴀʀʀᴏᴛᴄᴀᴋᴇ.]

Tria nodded and padded back to her den. It was dry, and when the rain stopped she could restock. She hoped Ara would be alright. She had looked so tired, like she was almost dead. What if she didn't find anyone to take her place before she died? Would they all fade?

Buro raced away from the water as more fell from the sky. He went to hide undercover to wait out the storm. This would be good, but what if the water flooded? What then? The Huru and Loriel packs would be doomed. And where had the storm came from. It came so quickly it was like it had been summoned.

((I should have added this to the main page, and I will, but the "hum" Ara feels is the presence of the other pack's Leader, Weaver's can sense each other like that. Huru doesn't know about the Loriel pack yet, they are hiding.))
