The older tom watches Bluepaw and Oakpaw take off into the forest with a faint smile, glad the apprentices were getting settled in with their den mates and training. He looked half heartedly around camp for something to do since sitting around would never help him become deputy... Redshadow was a strong cat, perhaps when he was finished with Crowstar they could organize a patrol.

Slightly bored, the anti-social tom distracted himself with grooming and thinking about the best places to hunt. Nothing like a clean kill to fill a cat with pride and joy; and maybe get another cat to notice his existence. The sand colored tom was very generic in looks and had a hard personality, it was rough to make friends or go beyond just a simple conversation.

His ears pricked up the sight of the warriors waking up and greeting morning, he often still felt like an apprentice around them. Shadowpelt was so confident and put together, Wildfire always seemed to know what to do, but he had to say he admired Lionwhisker the most. He was calm, nice but not afraid to enforce rules and put cats in their place; it was amazing! Were was the big lump anyway..?

As soon as she spotted Oakpaw and Bluepaw, they were already leaving camp behind them to do something else. Her tail drooped and the calico sat down with a small sigh, not sure any of the other apprentices really liked her. Sure she was shy and quiet most of the time, but her mentor had never seemed to mind it much. Maybe it was because she was good at hunting and fighting but didn't like being pestered about group training; she had to admit she was a tad impatient.
