Jadeheart felt a bit uncomfortable at the leader doing her job but she didn't argue. She picked up Beech leaves and started putting the Juniper berries on one, and Marigold flowers and leaves on the other. "I think this is enough." She said as she picked up the bundles, and waited for the leader to gather hers.

She set the last of the herbs on the leaf and folded it up so she could carry it in her mouth. She nodded at Jadeheart and said, "You don't mind me helping, do you?"

Jadeheart shrugged. "Not at all, thank you." She said politely. Of course I like help, and I know she is the leader, but I just like control over my own job. she thought but never put words to the thoughts.

The small male warrior was laying down outside of the warriors den. His gaze had trailed over to the medicine cat and the leader. Icetooth always had his eyes set onto herbs but seems as if he was too slow in getting the spot. He had always been jealous at the medicine cat and her apprentice because well, when it came to normal warrior duties, Icetooth's successes were from other cats helping him, not him doing it himself. Even when he was taking his final exam as an apprentice, his mentor lied to the leader about him passing. If only his mentor would have told the truth, maybe he could be the medicine cat or at least a replacement if the female or females had gotten ill or were out herb collecting when a cat was hurt. He turned his head away from the two cats, blue eyes in a cold gaze staring at the ground. Icetooth had always been an emotionless cat, especially since the death of his beloved brother Lukas. Lukas was the best brother he could ever have, he always made sure he was happy, fed, and well cared for. Ever since he was killed by a predator, Icetooth has gotten colder and even more colder as the days went on in his life. He grew up believing no cat would ever love him because of his looks, personality, everything about him. He just kept on believing and now, his heart was stuck to that thought and it would be hard to get him a tiny bit more happier.

Quickfoot was out wondering around the clans territory. She was doing this to stretch her legs for a bit and even catch a piece of prey or two. She was humming a small room as she strolled long also sniffing the air just in case. She reached the border and the tabby decided to remark them just to be friendly. Once remarking the fainted borders, Quickfoot proceeded onwards and just to her luck, she came across a scent from some prey. Of coarse being the small klutz she it, the white and brown striped female warrior had to make a loud enough sound and scared away whatever the prey was. She knew by its scent faded away and Quickfoot gave a small sigh and scowl at herself.

Snowstar nodded and said, "Alright," and started padding back to camp. On the way there she murmured, "Have you ever wanted a mate? Even though its forbidden?"

"What? Oh heavens no!" Jadeheart said quickly. "I apologize for saying that in a harsh manner." She added. "I just don't think I would ever take a mate, forbidden or not." She explained. "The idea isn't very appealing to me."

Flamepaw woke up in the apprentice den with a groan. Why on earth does night only seem to last for seconds? he thought as he groomed his chest fur quickly. He looked out of the den and saw Birdpaw near the fresh-kill pile. No, not yet. he thought as he rejected the urge to talk to her. He looked around for Snowstar, who didn't seem to be in camp at the moment. Great, I don't even know when I will get to leave camp. he thought.

Snowstar nodded, surprised at her sharp tone. She let out a sof. Purr and said, "I think I want a mate, although it sounds weird especially with me being leader. And being a she cat, I wouldn't be able to Carr for the clan if I was impregnated with kits or something.." She also thought back at her mother wuth a frown whom had died After kitting her.

"I'm sure you'd be able to handle one." Jadeheart reassured the leader. "It does take time to nurture kits, but i'm sure you could do it." She purred.
