Larkpaw turned her head as she heard her mentor calling to her. She padded over and smiled up at Lilypetal. "Yes?" Larkpaw asked. She loved being the medicine cat's apprentice. It was the job she dreamt of as a kit and now her everday life. Skypaw always wanted to be a warrior, but Larkpaw thought that was silly.

"Everything's okay." He replied happily. A screeching sound from outside the camp startled him. "What is that..?" He muttered and flattened his ears.

He looked over at Featherfur and hissed playfully. "Okay okay!" Greyflame smiled to himself and started off towards the den's exit. He grabbed a mouse, and pulled it back to Featherfur. "Here you go, love." He said and dropped it besides her.

as she was quickly trying to eat the small fish she had grabbed, she jumped a bit at the sudden appearance of the other apprentice. "oh! heh, yeah." she didnt really notice the romance in anyone elses lives and usually kept to herself on topics like that.

she wasn't one for being an early riser, and didnt intend on actually getting up until someone came looking for her. curling up into a tighter ball, the sand and moss from her den sunk deeper into her fur, a pain to remove later, but right now she didn't care.

She licked Larkpaws head and said ''I am out of juniper berries... I saw some a few fox-tails away from the stream by a giant oak tree.'' She meowed licking her chest then said ''Can you go get some?''

Her eyes widen her ears laid back ''WHATS THAT?!!'' She looked over to the elders den and screeched ''Featherfur!'' She then meowed ''Larkpaw! Forget the juniper berries! We must see whats wrong with Featherfur!'' She sprinted over to Featherfur and meowed ''Featherfur! Whats wrong?!''

She looked at Featherfurs belly and meowed quietly ''Bellyache?.. No no.. her tummy is bloated..'' She put her paws on Featherfurs belly, as quick as lighting a star twinkled in Lilypetals eyes then she said with warmth in her tone ''Featherfur isn't sick.. she has kits.'' she looked at Larkpaw with warmth and care in her face, then said ''Larkpaw, could you go get me some Celandine,Chamomile and some poppy seeds?''

She whacked the mouse playfully as if it was still alive, she then went to take a bite but then she unsheathed her claws and her eyes went huge, she let out a massive screech of pain!

She screeched again and meowed ''I-its my belly... it hurts!'' she squirmed all over the floor her claws unsheathing and sheathing.

''K-kits.. I-I thought I was too old to have kits..'' then she meowed happily with a loud purr in her throat ''Oh Greyflame! Do you hear that I am going to have kits... WE'RE going to have kits!''

(Can we say that all the cats in camp gathered around the elders den to see what the screech was and then heard she was pregnant?)

Larkpaw nodded and started towards the forest, when she heard a yell. "What?!" She cried and followed Lilypetal to the elder's den. "F-featherfur!" Larkpaw watched Lilypetal examine the elder, then darted off to the den to find the herbs Lilypetal said. "Celandine... Chamomile..." She dug through the herbs. "Poppy!" With a jaw full of herbs Larkpaw ran back to Lilypetal's side and dropped the bundle of herbs.

Greyflame gasped. "Really? Oh my..." He said happily. "Kits... How do you raise kits?" He mumbled to himself. The elder was filled with joy and excitement, but also worry for his mate. He sat besides her and licked her cheek. "It'll be okay, Lilypetal and Larkpaw will take care of you."

Pineclaw
Pineclaw was trotting on the beach. He was hunting so he smelled the air now and then. He had a frown on his face, it didn't seem like a good time to hunt. Pineclaw turned around and trotted back to the camp. He looked around, trying to find Lilypetal. He padded to the medicine den and looked inside. "Lilypetal..? Are you here?" he called and when there was no answer he just sat down next to the entrance.

Silverpaw
Silverpaw was playing with a rock next to the apprentice den entrance. He poked it whit it paws. It really wasn't amusing, but he was really bored so it didn't matter what he would do.

Batmoon
Batmoon had a frown on her face as she padded on the beach. She was just on a walk, not hunting or patrolling or anything like that. She looked at the ocean and tried to not get wet.

She nodded at Greyflames words, and then meowed ''CoralClan needs more warriors, Cedarfur, Pineclaw and Batmoon need apprentices.'' (Sorry if your taken) then she said to Greyflame ''Make sure she doesn't go run around the camp or try to battle one of the warriors,'' she said with warmth in her tone.''

She sighed and said ''The day I stand still, the day Greyflame grows wings!'' she meowed her fur puffed up to make her look big and strong. (XD)

She meowed happily ''Finally! More apprentices!'' Then she unsheathed her paws and started to fight an invisible enemy and then meowed ''I'll show them to fight and scare away any intruders who dare to step paw in our camp!'' She meowed proudly.

''I am very happy for you Featherfur,'' he then looked to Coralshard (Sorry if I got the name wrong) and meowed ''Want to go hunting? We need to stock up the fresh kill pile,'' then he licked his paw and meowed again ''Besides, Featherfur needs all the food for her kits.''

She looked over at cedarfur. "Go with the border patrol please." She looked at coralshard." Let's go the clan needs to be fed."

Lightningstorm was waiting for Opalpaw to finish her breakfast, swishing his tail slightly while he waited. He hadn't taken her on a border patrol in a while, hadn't been on one himself for a few days. He sighed, looking up at the clouds, thinking to himself. He wondered where his brother, Panther, was. Swishing his tail through the sand, he shook his head slightly.
