The she-cat opended her hazzle brown eyes to the bright sunlight, she yawned. Another day.. She thought. Getting to her paws. She took a few seconds to adjust to the bright morning. Tawnystar flicked her tail, then made her way over to the fresh-kill pile. She sat down, pawing down a small vole for breakfast. She scratched behind her brown and black ears. Knowing the Clan cats wouldn't wake up for a few minutes.

Her breath felt heavy under the bright, morning sunlight as it filtered through the den. She yawned and picked herself up, feeling the earth beneath her. She flicked her tail and groomed her paw pads, looking over her shoulder to see if any herbs were needed or ones to be thrown out. She sighed a heavy sigh and decided to tell Poppypaw to fetch some herbs that were in need. Let's see... I need some more daisy and burnet, more catmint and I ran out of tansy... I'll get the catmint and burnet and I'll leave the tansy and daisy to Poppypaw. She thought. The fragance of the greenish substance filled the air, and more sunlight drifted into the den. She looked around and picked some herbs off the ground, throwing them out. She wrapped some of the new herbs she had gathered yesterday in fresh new leaf, and looked over her shoulders, seeing the camp. Firetail bounded out the entrance, and greeted Tawnystar. "Good morning, Tawnystar,"She purred with a smile. The sun's light felt warm on her cheek, and she flicked her tail, waiting for a response.

Minnowpaw and Hollypaw slept near one another as morning came, Hollypaw lifting her head and yawning. She looked at Minnowpaw and prodded him in the side with his paw. "Wake up," she mewed.
"Five more minutes..." he whined, putting his paws on his face.

She looked over slowly. "Oh, good morning, Firetail." She purred softly. Birds soared the purple dawn sky. Tawnstar nodded to herself with a small smile on her face. "As it seems, it'll be a wonderful day for th clan to do something together, for one." She mewed quietly. Tawnystar got to her mixed paws, padding into the warrior's den, she quietly made her way to center. "Wake up everyone. Today all of us have a job, even if you disagree." She said loudly.

"But Minnowpawww," Hollypaw whined, standing with a stretch. She decided to grab her brother's scruff and drag him into the clearing, Minnowpaw hissing and trying to get away. "Hollypaw! Quit!"

Tawnystar flicked her ear, notcing the two small apprentices, Minnowpaw and Hollypaw, playing around. She smiled, padding over to them. "Hey, you two. Since you're already awake and.. seem active, why don't you do me a favor, after you eat." Tawnystar said quietly. She turned around, slowly making her way over to the fresh-kill pile.

She purred in amusement as the two apprentices yapped at each other. She then padded over back to her den, to double check if she needed more than Burnet and Catmint.
