Pinemist bumped into the tom when she started out. "Oh! Hey Ravenstar!" She smiled to him.

Fishkit lazily rolled in the camp clearing's dirt, hoping to be apprenticed soon.

Smallnose busily sorted herbs, muttering and mouthing to herself in concentration. She did her work quickly and neatly, her paws carrying her where the herbs needed to go without her needing to think.

Ravenstar smiled and licked Pinemist. "Hello. How did you sleep?"

Greykit
Chased after Fishkit and nudged him, "Come on! Come hunting with me we can show them that we're ready to be apprentices!"

Emeraldheart
Emeraldheart slowly got up and followed the two kits outside. "What are you two doing out so early?"

Scarletpaw
Scarletpaw stood up and wandered near the warriors den hoping her mentor would take her out.

Pinemist smiled and nuzzled him softly. "Just fine. What about you?"

Fishkit jumped up. "Okay! Let's do it!" He said to Greykit, then quickly turned to Emeraldheart. "Nothing. Just playing games! We want to be apprentices!" He shot the she-cat a wide-eyed, innocent look.

"Actually, no. I just finished sorting. Unless you want to go and get wet moss and poppy?" Smallnose stuffed the last herb pile as she spoke, wiping her paws and then turning to the she-cat.

"Good. Are the patrols needed to be round up? If so I'll do if you want me to. And I was thinking of having Fishkit and Greykit become apprentices soon. What do you think?" He looked at her and waited for her wise thoughts as he admired the she-cat's beauty.

Greykit
"Yeah, we were just going to play a game!..... But i we have some important duties as future apprentices and need as much freedom as you will give us..."He mewd as he start slowly walk away from the queen.

Emeraldheart
Looks at the kits and smartly remarks to them, "Alright then I'll leave you to it." She started walking toward the nursery and quickly said as she was still walking, "Don't go to far from the nursery though. And stay in the camp I won't be happy with the two of you if you disobey me...."

Grey
The twolegs let him out finally and he ran out as soon as the door opened. "Freedom at last there is no way they are ever getting me back in there and no way I am eating that stupid food again!" He looked at the twolegs and looked at the fence around their home. He ran. Jumped over the fence and was never going to see the twolegs again. "Aw the forest" His stomach growled and he looked around for food. He smelled the air and found the scent of a rabbit. He crouched down and stalked it and killed it with a swift blow. And he started eating.

"Your the leader, I'm the deputy. Patrols are my job, remember?" She gently nudged him. "Yes, that sounds like a good idea. Fishkit and Greykit are becoming more of a handful each day." Pinemist dipped her head.

Fishkit disregarded the last sentence she mewed and as soon as the queen disappeared into the nursery, he ran behind the nearest den and searched for a way out. He scratched at the barrier until a small hole formed. "Com'on Greykit!" The tom yelped before wriggling his way under. Fishkit freed himself and got up, staring at the forest. "Wow." He breathed.

"OK ok, I"m coming." Runs after Fishkit and stumbles everyonce in a while over branches. "Wow. It's huge! How did we not know how big the forest was!" Smells the air, "I smell something! Come on lets get hunting prove that we're ready to be apprentices!" Run out into the forest and slows down when he smells a mouse. Looks around for it and crouches low.
