Silverfeather's eyes gleamed with guilt. "It's alright. It's my fault." She dipped her head apologetically. "We should keep moving." She padded along in silence, ears alert and scenting the air often. When she reached the Tall Aspen she faced Fadepaw. "Sorry about earlier." She whispered before raising her voice enough to be heard. "Have you noticed anything unusual?" She asked.

Ravenclaw waited for Ripplestar to reply.

"Well, I suppose, considering this isn't really a hunting patrol." Ripplestar replied. "But we should also head back to camp somewhat soon. I dont like being away for too long."

Fadepaw, amazingly looked slightly surprised. "How do you never place any blame on any other cat?" He growled. But didn't say anything else till they got to the aspen. When Silverfeather spoke to him again, he muttered "What was that?" as if he had drifted off in his own thoughts.

[Synamiic]

Silverfeather sat down. "I said, have you noticed anything unusual on the way here?" She asked. Her tail lightly flicked to and fro.

"Oh." Fadepaw sat down just underneath the tree and opened his mouth slightly to draw the scents in. Suddenly he bristled "Fox. I smell fox." he then relaxed "But its old, maybe four or five days." he flattened his ears and twitched his tail in irritation for his premature fear.

"oh,then nevermind.Well,we should head out.Lightpaw!"he called and she came.then they started back to camp

Silverfeather's ears pricked. "Good. I somehow missed that fox....." She hissed in embarrassment. "Off to the Fishing Pond. Stay alert just in case there are more fox scents. We don't want them sticking around." She added pointlessly.

Ripplestar opened her mouth as if to object, but closed it quickly slightly flattening her ears.

For once instead of mocking someone for a pointless sentence, Fadepaw actually very slightly smiled, and without a word, followed Silverfeather.
