Summer stretched her wings in the den and secretly scolded herself for not waking up early. "These pups are killing me." She moaned tiredly and licked her stomach. "Though, I would die without you." She chuckled to herself and jumped onto the rocks above the cave and let out a long, solid, strong howl and spread her green-striped wings. The she-wolf tossed her head, making her long bangs flow to the side of her face. "All gather!" She said firmly, though her tone was soft and caring... It also hinted her motherlyness. The ice blue eyes wandered over the field and she spotted a flower in the middle that had just bloomed and used her mind to pluck it from the soft soil and lay it by her ear. "Just because I'm a fat mother doesn't mean I can't look good." She whispered to herself, chuckling.
Kiowna yawned and stretched, padding out of the cave and flexing his orange wings out the moment the sun hit him. He was a stunning wolf, with a personality to match his looks. "If only mum could see you Summ." He chuckled, "Look at that, I made a rhyme!" His laugh was vibrant, like the fur on his pelt that shimmered in the sunlight. "Kibalu? Ki...?" Kiowna slowly looked around at the forest that surrounded them. "I know you're there, you can't surprise me this time!" He promised, remembering when he and Kibalu had often played hide-and-go-seek and how the wolf would scare him and laugh at how high Kiowna jumped.
Pandora lay at the Healer's den entrance for a bit more before she decided she should obey Summer. The snow-white wolf with black wings stood out in the oddest way in the meadow. Every step she took the grass died and as her foot lifted off of the spot it grew back, younger and healthier. She sat away from Kiowna, silently and watched Summer with her emerald-like eyes. Dark and still, her black wings remained folded against her side, just about twice her size. Pandora looked down at her neck at the necklace she had been given but returned her focus to Summer.
Kibalu swooped out of a tree landing silently on the ground. The huge, brown paw-pads of the wolf trudged along slowly and silently until he was about a foot away from Kiowna. Then, like lightning, the wolf sprang, his wings lifting up as he used them to glide, landing next to Kiowna. "Hey pal. So, what do you think Summer wants? Not that I don't already know, that is." He chuckled and lad his peaceful eyes on Summer, now calm, content and focused on his alpha and whatever it was she had to say. His eyes were a deep chocolate color and they looked almost radiant compared to his light brown feathers.
