Emerald touched down in the dining hall to see what all the ruckus was. Oh, they're drinking... Well, I'm no drinker. She lifted off, sighed then flew back to her small hallow to read a book in candle light. After a short bit, she lifted into the sky and flew around trying out a few tricks her father had shown her when she was little.

Personality: Nice, intelligent, perceptive and rather aloof. He is a strong tactician who is very adaptable especially during tough points in a battle and utilizes all his senses during battles.
History: Aquila was born in Silverviel, but his parents had heard the Pure Ones were rising to power again, and they flew him to the Great Ga'Hoole tree for safety. Then, they went to fight the Pure Ones and were killed in battle. Aquila misses them, but he doesn't want blind revenge; he just tries to do the best he can by trying to stop the Pure Ones and saving other owls.

Appearance: He also has a talon scar under his left eye.
Personality: Malicious, unforgiving, and just all-around cruel. He loves following orders from the King and Queen of the Pure Ones, as he usually is fighting or punishing someone.
History: Nyx was known as Blinky when he was first born. He was a gentle owlet, but he got snatched right out of his nest after his parents were murdered by the Pure Ones. They took him to St. Aggie's and effectively moonblinked him. He was known as until someone decided he was a perfect moonblinked owlet. He slowly moved his way up the ranks, then finally earned the name of Nyx. He moved up a few more ranks, then was forced to kill another owl, a Greater Sooty Owl, to become 1st Lieutenant. He did so effectively, but the Sooty gave him the scar under his left eye before dying.

Of Nights of Binglejuice and Roses

Aquila danced around in the air, swaying to the harp's elegant music. He was having a blast, and decided to get some binglejuice. He flew to one of the nest-maid snakes, who were serving the juice in cups made from nuts. He drank two and started to get a bit tipsy.

Nyx was perched in his 1st Lieutenant spot, near the King and Queen of the Pure Ones. He watched as the other Tytos in their army gathered, the Lesser Sooties no doubt barely able to see, as they were the farthest away, in the very back.

Emerald lighted down in the tree outside of the dining area and wandered in, she turned her head around to look at all the owls. She sighed a bit. A shame my father always told me not to drink. From this very day I've never had a drink. I wonder what it's like... She began to get lost in thought before she had to flutter away from a dizzy owl. She let out a bit of a startled squawk that always sounded a bit more like a squeak and dipped her head in embarrassment. Maybe I should have stayed in my hallow and read a book instead. Da said it was never a bad thing I made squeak sounds, but.... It's so embarrassing... So many owls teased me back in Silverveil.... I was even known as the squeaking owl! Only Da seemed to care... She slowly started to back away, her head still lowered.
