But do thy always add up good? One question. More or less? I put my head down and glance at Cacher out of the vorner of my eye.

Curse this white snow. All it did was mask scents and hide the trail; at least, until the pawsteps were spotted. There was no doubt in this wolf's mind that they enemies had come this way, and judging by the fact that the print was barely covered, it couldn't have been long ago. Good for his pack, bad for the Pack of Rising Dawn. Soon, they would have their revenge. Not only for their fallen packmates who had died when he and his siblings were mere pups in the den, but also for their dear Mentor, whom had been murdered by the Pack of Rising Dawn.

Mentor was the one who had looked after them, raised them to what they were now. His death had been unjust and unfair. But they would avenge him, and it would be soon. A low growl rumbled in the throat of Theron, and was joined by his lips peeling back to reveal sharp fangs and his ears pushing back against his skull, hackles raising. "Soon." He muttered.

[Strike] - [huntress] - [the ruthless one]

A shadowy blur, moving swifter than a stone plummeting to the ground, shot through the nearby vicinity of Theron. The dark streak halted beside the brute, revealing herself to be Strike - who was bestowed with the gift of exceptional speed - and dipped her head in a respectful gesture. She had heard his spoken word and thus decided to contribute.
“Yes, Theron, I agree with you.” The raven-furred huntress commented in her emotionless, almost monotonous tone. “Soon, we will get our revenge for what those despicable, lowly savages did to our lives.”
Strike did not particularly hold vivid memories of the slaughter of her packmates; she did not recall even a single image from the carnage. However, she could see Mentor's death in her mind's eye like it happened yesterday, and she was anxious to avenge him. That male wolf had saved her life, and the lives of Theron and Aster, and Strike had cherished the highly-regarded Mentor.
We'll find those murderers yet. They should better watch their backs.

Cacher good naturedly shook the snow off of him and spat out the pine needles. "Where are we going to sleep tonight?" he asked Nala, running faster to catch up with her. "There hasn't been any shelter for miles! Unless we somehow find a way to sleep in the trees..." He smiled wryly to himself, observing the smooth red trunk of a nearby evergreen. Although it was obviously unclimbable he scraped the hard bark experimentally with one paw. Above them, patches of cloud began to drift away as Cacher imagined what it would be like resting on top of a tree.

I look at him, stopping with my paws burried up to the ankle in snow. I think about it. Woukd we find a den? A home? More importanly, out if this situation? I sigh, my warm breath floating up through Winter's cold air. "We can dig..." I am, in fact tired. And although its not the best choice, well have to make a den. "Unless you want to try sleeping in a tree?" My warm brown fur ruffles in the breeze as I pad between the roots of tree. I sink my claws into the earth and lok to my pack before digging. "Any questions or concerns?" I ask in a leader like manner.
