"I would like to pick up my cookies, are they done yet? I am so tired today, tough day or boring day that is.'

"Um...cookies?
OH, your cookies!
Your Rose right?
Would you like me to warm them up for you?"

I grabbed a baker's dozen full of cookies.
They were fairly fresh,
made late last night at closing time so the secret-ingredient-dough had time to rise.
They were full of chocolate chunks,
and the dough left behind a slight linger of vanilla incense.
The best part was that they were always, always, ALWAYS doughy in texture!
No matter how you would make the cookies,
the secret ingredient would make them feel and taste even better than raw cookie dough!
A Daeet could only imagine the flavors that the cookie held,
let alone all of the bakery's other snacks and treats!

Hikaru flinched a bit at the arrival of another daeet. He couldn't help but be intimidated by her. As he tried to work up the nerve to answer, he couldn't help but notice the lovely smell of cookies. Hikaru was rather fond of the smells found in a bakery, but rarely got to visit them. Rarely got to visit them.. he thought, suddenly asking himself why he had come to the North Faction. After thinking for a bit, he managed a sheepish answer.

I-I guess I came here for a v-visit, I w-wanted a break from my work f-for a few days; alot of daeets are coming and asking f-for books on the Virus.. Though, I-I don't have that many..

He sighed, wondering if anything was going on back home.

(I hope I get used to roleplaying soon, I feel suckish compared to you guys XD)

Rose looked at Lilly and said, " I would love if you could warm them up dear, it would be great. " she smelled the delicious smell of the cookies and added, " They smell delicious! " Then turning to the blue Daeet, she narrowed her eyes and asked, " And what's your name? And where did you come from? And I understand about the books, but just a warning.. If I find out you have the virus- " Pausing, " Your going down understand? I won't let my friends be hurt by you. " she said and turned away.

She stop narrowing her eyes and turned and look at Blossom, she knew she was harsh, but she had to protect the Daeets, it wad a duty. She sighed softly before looking at the cookies, she closed her eyes for a minute and turned away looking outside the bakery window. She smiled before turning it back to not show what she was feeling.

Hikaru seemed to shrink back, obviously intimidated. He stuttered for a moment, then managed an audible, yet rather quiet sounding reply.

I-I'm H-Hikaru, from the S-south Faction, I-I'm not planning to s-stay long... A-and as of now I'm pretty sure I-I'm not infected.. I-if you don't mind me asking, w-what might your name be..?

He suddenly remembered that Blossom said her name.

R-rose, right..?

Hikaru gulped, trying to get over his intimidation. His shyness was like a curse, a horrible curse he couldn't get rid of as hard as eh tried. He sighed, embarrassed by his constant stutter. He finally jerked away from his thoughts, and, while waiting for her reply, he looked toward the treats. What he had eaten was delicious, and he decided to get something else from the bakery before he left to go back home.

(I haven't roleplayed on CS at all, but I have privately with my friends.. Never developed a plot as cool as this, though. XD)

" Ah, Hikaru from the south? I am happy that your don't have the virus because I don't want a Daeet spreading it, it is troublesome. " Rose said, she said, " Rose, I am the military leader here. And my, aren't you shy? Or are you just scared of me?

Fear not, as I am not as scary as I looks like. " Rose look at Hikaru for a while before turning and looking about, she spotted a beautiful cake and thought, " Beautiful cake there... It is a pity though, I can't buy it. " she turned to Hikaru for a answer.

Hikaru began to relax a bit, and glanced back over to Rose. He replied,

Y-yeah, people say I'm pretty shy.. A-and a bit intimidated as well, heh..

He paused, taking a moment to look at her face and hind leg, wondering for a second what happened to scar them so severely. He decided not to ask in sake of Rose's privacy. Sighing slightly, he continued.

I'm a l-librarian, s-some guys think it's weird b-but I love to read.

He managed a sheepish grin as he replied, forcing himself to seem less shy than he was in actuality.

Rose smirked, " You need to have bravery to stay here, unless you say you can fight. " she said. She look at him, as he looked at her face and leg, " Ah, wondering why I have these ugly look? I was born on halloween, so don't fear. " Rose said. " A little weird for a guy to read, you would be better if you are good at fighting. "

Laughing she continued, " I am just kidding, it is fine for guys to read. Do you have a book on the virus? I just need to find out about it, to do my job. "

Hikaru chuckled at her reply, knowing that he would in fact to better as a fighter. He considered himself a pacifist, and in fact preferred reading to fighting any day. He sighed, trying to remember what books he had on the virus. After a few moments, he replied.

N-not many, and the ones I do have aren't very informative; m-most of the things in the books are things m-most daeets already know.. W-which is pretty frustrating, c-considering alot of daeets want more information..

He wished he had more information than he did, he hated disappointing people. He wondered if any scientists had any new information he could use in books to help people figure more out about the mysterious disease.

Rose nodded, " Thank you. I know, I wish there was more books, it is hard to find our if we want to protect ourselves.. " She said, she then saw a free sample biscuit sign, she took one and nibbled on it, she ate it and said, " I have always wondered, what happens after a Daeet gets a virus? Does it go away? I never seem to be able to find out. I am quite glad or happy today,there isn't much stuff to do like on Monday to friday, I just feel like having fun with my friends. What about you? I am deciding to go out and maybe have a picnic to relax for a while at the meadows, do you and Blossom want to come along? " Rose took another biscuit and nibbled on it while waiting for Hikaru reply or answer.
