Thorin watched over the green lands, the pure fresh green lands as he walked out of the deep forest after sixteen years. He had had his fill of the dark, the thrill of it was over. The mourning was done for. He stood proud and tall, looking out over what had become of his herd. Noticing many other kirin, some unrecognizable after sixteen years, he strode out, each powerful step breathtaking and one of a leader. His neck was up high, his horns shining slightly in the light. He had a wise look in his eye, a sense of knowledge in his carriage. His long tail swayed behind him as he came out into the view.
