Leopardstripe
Tom/Warrior/ No kits
Lepardstripe licked his paws, thinking about where he should bring Ashpaw today. He had already looked over her battle skills yesterday. Though she wasn't great at battling, he could polish her battle skills some other time. It was about time that Ashpaw helped out with the elders. Lepardstripe stood up carefully looking around, finding his apprentice talking to some of her friends. Lepardstripe padded over, and say down beside them.
Ashpaw finally turned around and meowed "What are we doing today, Lepardstripe? Yesterday's battling lessons were fun, but I still like hunting more"
Lepardstripe thought for a moment and said "Being a warrior doesn't nessasarily mean you get to like what you want to do. Sometimes you have to do things that you know is right, but it's the best for the clan. Today, you will be helping out with the elders, getting their fleas off them, and getting fresh moss. Grayclaw did mention that he needed new bedding."
Ashpaw grumbled, but Lepardstripe ignored it and excepted it. He remembered how he had felt when he was still an apprentice. And he padded away.
Ashpaw
She-cat/apprentice/ No Kits
Ashpaw tried to make the best of it. At least I'm not helping Fallensnow, she thought to herself. Ashpaw hated the choking smell of herbs and doing boring stuff like organizing a storage room, she'd very much rather run through the trees and smell the fresh air with the wind in her face.
As she padded into the elder's den with a pile of fresh moss in her mouth, she saw Lepardstripe walk toward Parrottail. He's probably going hunting with her, she thought jealously. When could she become a warrior? Certainly in a long time, she couldn't even hold a badger yet.
Squirrelcloud
She-cat/Warrior/No kits
When Squirrelcloud saw Leoardstripe pad toward Parrottail, she immediately knew that they were going hunting. She quickly ran toward them, not wanting to miss a chance to hunt.
"I wanna go!" She burst out before she got there. Eyes turned toward her, and she quickly studied her paws.
"Squirrelcloud, you have to learn how to act more mature. Certainly even Ashpaw knows to not yell when there are kits asleep!" Parrottail said in a tone she used for apprentices.
"Sorry, Parrottail, but I didn't want to be left behind." She saw Leopardstripe smirk in the corner of her eyes, and rolled her own. "Mouse dung, Leopardstripe! When will you learn that you are onto three moons older than me and stop acting like your so much more older than me!"
Leopardstripe was like that all the time. He was too protective, too nosy, and too ANNOYING! But she had learned that when she acted mature, he would eventually stop and shut up for a good long while.
As they talked about places to go hunting, and decided that they should head toward the lake, where they could catch the fish and the voles that appear once in a while. Squirrelcloud was very aware of Ashpaw's jealous gaze on them, and simply asked Leopardstripe why Ashpaw was still at camp.
"She needs to learn to help the elders and serve the clan, and she needs a break from hunting and battling. She might not think so, but she does."
Parrottail nodded and said "That is a wise decision, she certainly needs a break, and that apprentice talks more than I have my whole life, she could certainly entertain Grayclaw."
