Flintbreeze purrs, licking the top of her head.

Cherrykit imitated her father, purring softly. She backed up a little away from him, deciding something. With a great effort, she opened her little eyes, looking up at Flintbreeze curiously.

Sparkpaw watched them, I wish I had that kind of relationship with my mother and father.. she thought sadly.

[squirelife]

"Hey Silverstorm. How are you?" Blackhaze purred, reaching out to touch noses with her.

Cherrykit stumbled forward, feeling for Flintbreeze's chest and sniffing his fur.

Sunshine nuzzled Cherrykit, then looked over at Sparkpaw and Skypaw. "Yes, the two of you may come in." She worked not to huddle over her kits protectively in front of them. They would be fine with the apprentices.

Silverstorm purred as they touched noses and smiled. "I'm doing fine thank you." She said before sitting down. "How are you?" She asked.

Skypaw nodded and walked inside the nursery. Her light blue eyes gazed down at the small kits and she smiled softly. Skypaw had never seen kits before, and she couldn't help but gush over how adorable they were. She looked at Sunshine and smiled then looked back at the kits.

Sunshine smiled back at Skypaw, keeping an eye on her kits as bast she could.

Cherrykit decided that this cat was her dad and cuddled up next to him, looking out at the other cats with her new eyes, exactly like her dad's. She decided that the big ginger cat was her mom, and the other cats were strangers. She pressed into Flintbreeze's fur, watching them, not anxious, but curious and nervous.

"I'm good. Want to do something today?" he asked her, stretching and purring. "Or is it a lazy day?"

Skypaw looked at the kits and hen at cherrykit, who's gaze was fixed on the her and sparkpaw. She smiled softly hoping she wouldn't scare the kit.

Silverstorm shrugged. "Either is fine with me." She said.

[EO+RS]

"You decide." Blackhaze insisted gently, smiling at her.

Cherrykit slowly began to walk towards Skypaw, her eyes wide as she tried not to fall over. She wasn;t that steady on her legs quite yet, although she had almost mastered walking. She stretched way forward and sniffed Skypaw curiously. Not-family scent. She walked back to Flintbreeze and sniffed him. Family-scent. She looked back at Skypaw, her eyes wide with awe as she stumbled back to her, sniffing at her paw again and touching with one front paw. She purred softly, imitating the noise her parents had made to her.

Sunshine watched Cherrykit, slightly amused as she discovered cat-scents outside the family.

Flintbreeze smiles at his kit, licking her head. He smiles and purrs again, watching Skypaw.

Redkit squeaked, biting Fintbreezes tail numly.

Silverstorm thought about it for a moment and looked outside. "Maybe we should do something productive sense Sunshine just had her kits their will be more mouths to feed." She said.

Skypaw was amused as she watched cherrykit discover the scents of her own family and those outside of the clan. She was also quite amazed how quickly the kit was learning these things.
