Persay was breathing heavily and leaning against Jerson, waiting Ti be brought across the water. "Sorry I'm so helpless," she wheezed, coughing. "I hate to be any trouble!" Jerson licked Persay's ear.
"it's no trouble at all,my lovely," he whispered. "No one minds." he steadied Persay as she clambered onto his and Guardians back.

Persay tried not to shake with fright, but she was very, very scared. Jerson was swimming slowly, trying to keep his balance. He turned his head to look at Persay, but instead saw Blast pacing the banks of the moat. Wait... He thought. Why didn't Destiney just freeze of so we could walk across? Bolt can't go in the water!

Maple and Flash padded to the scene anyway. flash fluffed up her fur as she looked at the water. Maple sat down and curled her tail neatly over her paws.

Jerson turned and lowered Persay gently to the ground. He faced the moat and using his powers, he parted the water, making a pathway for Flash, Maple, Destiney, and Blast.
