Shadestorm blinked twice to register Softpaw and the loner's words. Her eyes narrowed, and her facial features settled into her usual intense and focused expression. "I'll go get some yarrow," was all she said, before casting a dark look at the loner and dashing away to the medicine cat den. Luckily, the den was quite close by and before long she burst into the den, eyes darting from corner to corner. She spotted the white flowers and jagged leaves lying on the ground and she scooped them all up in her mouth without a second thought. Ignoring the bitter taste they left in her mouth, she sprinted back to the others and dropped the plants at Softpaw's feet.

Jasperpaw blinked a couple times, dazed. If he saw correctly, a loner dropped a gull down at his feet and dashed away. What in the name of Starclan? he thought to himself, shaking his head. He quickly and scrappily buried the gull in the sand, marking it with a few scratches. He shrugged and carried on, nearing the cliffs, before hearing Silverpaw's cries. Eyes flashing with panic, he dashed over to where he heard her cries. "Silverpaw!" he meowed urgently. "H-hold on! Jasperpaw's eyes darted from rock to rock, looking for a safe way down- if there was one. His eyes landed on a couple small ledges, leading down to Silverpaw. "There! he shouted, flicking his tail at the ledges. "If you can get to the upper ledge, I should be able to pull you up. Be careful!" he added, tail twitching with nervousness. He tensed his muscles, taking a few steps back and leapt over the gap to the other side.
