Rex touched noses with Hawk lightly. He saw the gleam in the tom's eyes and decided right then and there to be the best trainee the tom could wish for. When it was over, he sat back down next to the other trainees. He looked at Splatter and meowed, "Looks like you're last up! Good luck."

{XD Interesting for sure. I think I actually will give her Darkness though, because I'm running out of options for mentors.}

Hawk straightened up and softly smiled down at Rex. This was his first trainee, and he had to turn him into a fine fighter if he didn't want Rex to be his last. He back down and sat down by his brother's side.

Bramble|Fighter|Tom|Tags: cats
Bramble was still smiling like crazy. As Hawk sat by him he whispered "Great job Hawk! I'm sure you'll make an amazing fighter out of Rex!" Hawk just looked back at him and gave him one of his usual friendly smirks.

Splatter|Trainee|She-cat|Tags: Clan, Rex
She smiled as Rex padded back up to where he was sitting before. She smiled back at him and meowed "Thanks,
I'll need all the luck I can get!"

(I'd imagine them having trouble hitting it off, but I bet they'll turn into an awesome duo. Gotta finish home work though, so replies will probably take a while.)

Now who to pair up with that feisty little she-cat? She's got talent for sure, and we need to use to the best of our abilities. Having decided, Darkness began the final pairing and by far the most exciting to her. "Splatter will be mentored by me," she meowed evenly. It took all of Darkness's effort to keep her voice cool and neutral, but she did it. Darkness leapt off the huge rock, and waited for Splatter to walk over.

Rex stayed silent, for Darkness had begun to speak. He almost fell over backwards when Darkness announced that she would train Splatter, but he managed to keep himself together.

As much as Splatter had silently prayed, she still had to face several long moons with Darkness as her mentor. She sighed and got up. She quickly shot a angry glance back at Rex, before trotting up to Darkness.
She looked up at her eyes. She could tell that she was hiding some excitment. These next moons were going to be tough for her, but she was determined to work harder than she ever would and make the best fighter Boneclan would see. After making this promise to herself she softly pressed her nose against Darkness's.

Saber

As soon as Saber heard that Darkness was mentoring Splatter she nearly fell of the rock. Saber couldn't keep herself from chuckling a little bit and she ended up proud of herself for not completely loosing her composure, well what little composure she actually possesed.

(Now I wish they cats were drinking because it would've been hilarious if Saber spat out her drink and started choking on it lol)

I tried the hardest I could to not let out a small chuckle. Splatter got
Darkness as a mentor! I looked at Saber and let out a grin, noticing she
was chuckling as well. I looked at Rex and gave him an unsure glance.
"I mean, at least she'll be a good fighter." After that statement, I almost
was forced to let out a chuckle. It was true though, and after some training
with Darkness, nobody would be able to defeat that pair.

Darkness gave Splatter a little smile. "Don't be so serious, anyone would think I'm going to bite you," she said quietly to the trainee after touching noses. She leapt back onto the Big Rock. "Now, I have a few more changes to make as well," she meowed to the rest of the cats.

Rex could almost feel the tension in Splatter's pawsteps. He watched on curiously, wondering how she would greet Darkness.

Splatter looked back up to her and gave her a weak smile. Darkness didn't seem so bad. But the training coming up ahead seemed insanely tough. She trotted back towards the other trainees, and gave them all a mean glare, as she could still see that they tried to hold their laughter in. She sat down by like nothing had happened.

Darkness meowed, "I am opening another spot for healer. This way, if it comes down to tension with Larkclan, we will be better prepared to defend our own. Along with this, there will be a third in command to help manage the clan," she meowed.

Rex looked on in astonishment. Can she do that? Of course she can, silly! She's the leader!
