Silverstar wakes to a ray of light entering her den. She stands and stretches, her wounds aching. She pads slowly out of her den and onto the high rock. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather around the high rock for a clan meeting!" She yowls. She waits for the clan to gather. "As you know, last night we lost a brave and loyal warrior." She meows sadly. "Hollowstorm left as serving his clan. It's the only way I can imagine he'd wanted to go. The patrol was never going to attack the foxes. When we arrived we found Duskpaw, out hunting alone. Though she broke rules, she meant well. We had no choice but to have her join the patrol. Being inexperienced, she fell out of the tree, and landed right by a fox. The patrol went to attack, to save Duskpaw. While we were battling the fox, Hollowstorm was watching for other foxes. A fox jumped out of the vegetation, completely hidden and..." She trails off, choked up with grief. "And bit down on Hollowstorms neck. It was too late to save him. We chased off the foxes, all of us suffering injuries. Luckily Darksky and Petalpaw are amazing medicine cats. We don't have to worry about the foxes, they suffered far worse injuries than us, and abandoned their den. We also had help. Most of you know our good friend Burnet, as well as a friendly loner named Skylar, helped fight off the foxes. You are not to attack Skylar if you see her. She helped save my life and is not a threat." She was silent for a few moments, letting the clan talk. "We also have to assign Duskpaw a new mentor. Duskpaw and Tigerdove please step forward" she meows, looking at Duskpaw "Duskpaw your mentor will be Tigerdove. I hope Tigerdove will pass down all she knows on to you." She looks over to Tigerdove "Tigerdove, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from your mentor, and you have shown yourself to be brave and loyal. You will be the mentor of Duskpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to Duskpaw." She meows.

Daisytail awakes and stands up. She notices Crowfeather missing from the den and shrugs. She hears Silverstar calling a meeting and goes outside to attend. She listens to the meeting quietly, sitting by Icesong, Goldensky, and Rainbird.
• Petalpaw • Tags: Darksky •
Petalpaw nods and closes her eyes, though she doesn't fall back asleep. She watches as it slowly gets lighter outside, and stands when finally, the first rays of light beam. She hears Silverstar calling a meeting and goes outside the medicine den to sit with Darksky.
• Pebblepaw • Tags: Fallenpaw, Firepaw, and Ryepaw •
Pebblepaw wakes up outside of the apprentice den, her head rested on Fallenpaw. Her friends asleep all around her. They must have fallen asleep out here. She smiles, and sits upright when Silverstar calls a meeting. She sits close to Fallenpaw, their fur brushing. She had never realized before, that maybe...she likes Fallenpaw...
