Leopardstripe nodded. "I tried, but they all ignored me." He sighed, then chuckled, but soon his smile turned to a frown. "Was I good father?"

Ferretpaw flicks his tail. He crouch down as he caught a scent. He followed it a bit. He flicks his tail as he jumps onto a rock and purrs. "Haha!"

Fernpaw stood up and began padding towards the apprentice den she looked at the cats around her and sighed, slowly she went into the den and sat in her nest.

Pikeflower grumbled softly to himself for a couple of moment before speaking up, "What happens when he retires? When he dies? What will you do then?" He knew that death was not something any cat wanted to think about when it came to their mate but he needed to make Waterbone think about it since it was very possible that Falcondusk would go before her.

"I think you were. And still are." Cloudgaze assured him, "Better than Stripestar was at least. His kits hardly even knew who he was for the first moons of their lives he visited so infrequently."

Waterbone sighed. "Dad, I can totally understand why you're worried, but I'll be okay. I promise." She licked his shoulder in a more "I'm your daughter and I love you" way.

Leopardstripe nodded. "I was practically in there all the time!" He purred.
