Sparrowpaw stood beside Dustpaw as they made their way towards WillowClan territory. He kept casting glances at the two she cats, and he sighed. He should be enjoying this, not sulking and walking like a snail. The tabby flicked his tail to Dustpaw. "Come on Dustpaw, the she cats are being snails!" He joked before bounding ahead.

She heard Sparrowpaw and started running after him."Wait!You're a snail!"She called after the tom and ran faster to catch up with him.Passing Sparrowpaw she gave him a nudge to make him loose his balance, but Berrypaw stepped on a rock and fell down."I'm good!"She said still standing down like this:

Pinepaw laughed, nudging Berrypaw up to her feet. "Silly shrew!" She grins, her tail whisking behind her. "Hey, what's going on in Cloverclan? You guys all seem really happy."

Sparrowpaw
Sparrowpaw's ears flattened at Pinepaw'd words. He couldn't tell her about all of the struggles his Clan was facing, so he had to find something good. Although he knew he had feelings for her, he wasn't sure if he could trust her. "Newleaf is coming, so the prey is coming back." He mewed with false enthusiasm. "But that's pretty much all the good things." His voice dropped as his tail drooped, dragging along through the grass. There had been far too many deaths in his Clan. Bramblewhisker, Foxstripe, Snakefang, Squirrelpaw. They'd all died within the space of half a moon.

Dustpaw shook his head when hearing Berrypaws comment but decided to not say anything. How could someone think it was time for them to go, all the cats who died were still so young too he thought. Dustpaw kept his pace with the others making sure not to fall behind.

Pinepaw nudges his side gently in a comforting manner. "I guess all the clans are going through tough times.. But hey, light can only shine in darkness, right?" She tried to cheer the mood as the group padded along, her tail waving behind her. Pinepaw's dark ears flick towards the forest ahead of them. "What do you think happened to WIillowclan? Do you think Greywing had something to do with it? I mean, it's pretty weird that she goes missing at the same time an entire clan falls apart.."

Sparrowpaw looked at Pinepaw doubtfully, but nodded still. He slowed his pace to walk beside Dustpaw, halting for a heartbeat as he scented faint WillowClan scent marks, as if they hadn't been here for at least a quarter moon. "We're in the territory." He murmured to Berrypaw as he ventured onward, following the scents as they gradually got stronger. The dense forest was much like CloverClan territory, except it had a lot more brambles and bushes covering the floor. CloverClan was more ferns and bracken. Soon they approached something that seemed like a trampled camp barrier, and he bounded forward, heart pounding with excitement and fear. "It's the camp!" He announced as he peered over the broken wall. It was completely empty, so he stepped inside. The entire camp was deserted and there was no sign of any life. All that remained were broken dens and mingled pawprints on the ground.
