She could hear distant yells, but what they said she could not comprehend. It didnt matter. She could smell the smoke rising around her, taste the flakey soot and ash from burning trees, the world was about to come down around her. Her silver eyes flashed over the scene, only very distantly were the flames beginning to rise, begin to engulf the world around her. Only a singles moment of hesitation, and she turned around, moving away from the wire, but only at a swift walk...

Rookfur started trembling , her eyes wide open ' f f fire ?" She stood still , watching it , too scared to move

Willowkit looked at her mother. "Mommy? What's that smell? It stinks!"

Cinderstar - Female - Mood; Worried, scared - Where; Forest - Tags; Rookfur

Cinderstar stared in horror as the fire devoured the trees, reaching the camp. She jerked her head to Rookfur. "Rookfur! Gather all of the queens and kits! Make sure they're safe and come back to me when you've done so!" She yelled. "Every cat, we need to get moving!"Cinderstar yowled. A hint of fire peaked from a bush, starting from the warrior's den. The blue-grey she-cat raced to the medicine cat's den. "Save some of the herbs, we need to go,"she spoke quickly. Her heart was racing as the fire began to devour the plants around her, smoke and ash filling the air.

The crackling of trees was almost soothing to the female as she continued moving from the source of the fire. She was hoping he'd be gone by then, the one who chased her so far, she wasn't sure which was more terrifying. The flames were getting steadily closer to her, taking tail-lengths at a time. Soon it would be within 10 of her, embers practically rolling to her feet, trees crashing all around her. Her nose twitched. The smoke made it impossible for her to tell if the tom was still there, and she had to keep moving...

Applestorm's ears pinned back and his eyes widened at the warning calls of his Clanmates. He saw the dark grey clouds engulfing the blue sky and sprang to his paws, helping Cinderstar get cats out of camp. "Help the elders, queens and kits! Every cat out!" He barked, dashing all around camp.


Fawnpaw looked up, eyes wide with fear, and out of the den as cats ran around frantically. She looked at her herb stock and flattened her ears, yowling. "What about my herb stock?!"


Timberpaw heard cats squealing and looked up, wrinkling her nose at the distinctive smell of smoke. Her eyes widened and her tiny paws thudded across the clearing at Applestorm and Cinderstar's call. She heard Fawnpaw, and ran to the medicine den. "Leave them here! We need to go! I will help you collect more after the fire!" She squeaked, her voice high with panic and fear.

"Let's go, come on!" She yowled, as the cats piled out of the camp. Cinderstar took the lead, racing out of the camp, and into the smoke-filled forest. She checked back to see if the clan was following her. A long branch engulfed in flames fell down in front of her, and she jumped back. The forest was filled with charred black trees and burning undergrowth, rodents and birds running and flying in every direction. The blue-grey she-cat then remembered a place, an abandoned twoleg den. "We need to take shelter at that den! We'll be safer, there,"she yelled, and the tang of twoleg scent hit her nose. A monster screeched loudly, the sound paining her ears. Twolegs piled out of the monster. "Run!" She yelled, dashing through the charred, once green trees.

She could feel herself getting a little dizzy, and so when she saw the figure of a larger cat she almost thought she was hallucinating. She had appeared in a small grove of rocks, with trees thickly surrounding it, and just visible through the smoke was the tom. He approached, smiled, and knocked her to the ground... She could barely fight. He spoke something, but she couldnt quite understand, not from her current state. He once again disappeared as the flames grew around her, and trees began to fall. Weakly, she crawled for th rocks, hiding beneath the base of a curved one and a tree that had been notched between two of them. No embers had yet fallen there... It was her only shot at survival.

" willowkit, stay calm , it's called a fire , stay with me and you'll be fine ,okay ?" Rookfur said slowly , trying to sound calm , so as not alarm her kit , but you could sense the tention

Skyblaze pricked her ears in alarm. "A fire? Great StarClan! Ashkit come here and stay near me. Do not leave my sight." She rushed toward her kit.

Amberstripe rushed to Cinderstar. "What should we do?" she asked "should we evacuate? If we do where should we evacuate to?" She crouched in fear and quitely asked, "what will hapen to the camp?'
