He jumped atleast two feet into the air at the unexpected voice, his shaking returned and his eyes widened. "H-hi..."

Hawktalon peered from behind Jaystorm, feeling a bit better upon realizing Leopardfoot wouldn't retort. Teal eyes fixing on the loner curiously, a warm smile spread across the golden tom's maw. "I'm Hawktalon. Yourself?" Gosh, poor guys a bit jumpy, I'd better go easy on him. Leopardfoot had better keep her rude maw shut.

Quietrain's eyes narrowed at the cats. She could tell they were trying to be friendly, but now the tom was scared again. His stuttering had returned and she let out an quiet hmph.

Jaystorm looked confused for a second, then shook it off. "I'm Jaystorm," he mewed. "This is Leopardfoot." He pointed his tail at the silent molly. "Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself, old sport. We've got to go on a hunting patrol now." He motioned with his tail for his clanmates to follow him. "Good-bye," he meowed to the loner. He nodded at Quietrain and started for the camp exit. The loner was an odd one. He wouldn't fit in that well in a clan like BrookClan. He was a bit too jumpy for Jaystorm's taste.

"Nice to mee'cha Nervis. You gonna join the clan?" Hawktalon questioned curling his bushy tail over his back while letting his teal gaze dance to Quietrain. Hearing her snort made his whiskers twitch in agitation. I'm just trying to make Nervis feel at ease... Lingering for a bit even after Jaystorm headed out, Hawktalon flexed his claws, awaiting a response before leaving.

He glanced at Quietrain. "Probably not.... I don't think Fogstar likes me...and a lot of other cats keep giving me dirty looks..."

The warrior sneered in amusement as Nervis leaped at Jaystorm's voice. Something as wimpy as this tom wouldn't even last a full day in BrookClan. She glanced over gratefully towards Jaystorm. She did not want to speak with the mouse-hearted loner in front of him. Leopardfoot cast one more disgusted look at Nervis before turning on her paw to follow behind Jaystorm, tail swaying behind her. She looked over shoulder once more to watch as Hawktalon attempted to converse with the jittery tom. With a roll of her green eyes, she padded out of the camp entrance, eager to be of use to her beloved clan.
