brightfern :

Stepping out of the camp and being swallowed into the
forest was the best thing Brightfern had felt all day. Soon the sun would
be setting and she would be getting some rest. It's only a border patrol..
you can get through this.. Brightfern took a quick step forward
before setting a fairly fast pace towards the border. Once arrived she
glanced behind to to check up the physical states of each of the warriors.

Seedpaw was a bit dissapointed, but he knew better than to argue. With a small sigh, he head towards the elders den. Perhaps Drizzlepelt would tell him a story.

Mistytail
Mistytail followed feeling stiff. The quick pace helped, but it wasn't fast enough. Maybe after the patrol she would just run. Turning her attention back to the task she was currently doing, Mistytail kept watch for any signs of intruder.

Cautiously going along the border and marking the
scents, Brightfern was a little nervous for the fox that Thornwind
was attacked by before. She had no idea if there were more foxes
or if the other one would come back.

Mistytail followed Brightfern's lead marking the border. She was confident that If they encountered another fox, the three of them would be enough to chase it off.

A look inside the elders den told Seedpaw that Drizzlepelt was fast asleep. Seedpaw didn't want to wake him so he decided to go visit Thornwind instead. He hurried into the medicine den and glanced over at Thornwind.

Fur starting to stand on end as they wandered the edge
of the border. Catching a faint wift on the edge of fox, Brightfern grew
scared. Pushing her fears down she suddenly grew confident with her strides.

Stirring slightly, Thornwind peeled his eyes open to see
Seedpaw. Groaning a little, "Hey Seedpaw. How are you?" he mewed as
pleasantly as he could.

Seedpaw looked nervously at his mentor. "D-did I wake you?" Seedpaw asked. "Thank you for saving Minnowpaw's life." He murmured. "I tried to make her come back to camp but she wouldn't listen to me. She doesn't listen to anyone."
