Mousetail sneaked away from camp desperate to retain her usefulness.

The scent of Clancat filled Stormpaw's nose, but it wasn't Nightblaze. She looked down and searched for the cat.

Rolled in mud to rid herself of the telltale cat scent then carried on stalking towards the clan border.

[Serenity.]

Stormpaw smirked a bit when she saw the cat. She was in mud so was obviously sneaking around. "W-why are you hiding your scent in your own territory?" The injured cat called out.

"aaaahah" the elder screeched in terror and jumped into the air scattering her greying fur all around her "who who are you"she stammered and started to compose herself "and why are you on thisnp territory"she hissed with a stronger tone of voice.

[Serenity.]

"Stormpaw, went missing when I was seven moons, attacked by a fox, ring a bell? " She said. She suddenly recognized the elder. "Mousetail?" She said in a softer tone. "You should g-get back to camp/' She said coughing a bit of blood out again.

"stormpaw?"Mousetail asked suprised then realised they were out of clan territory "I don't matter your hurt come back to camp with me"Mousetail mewed dustily with a kind tone.

[Serenity.]

Stormpaw shook her head quickly. "They don't want me there... Nightblaze told me to leave the territory." She coughed again and continued to shake her head in panic.

"what that piece of of dung"Mousetail hissed "well he's not the boss of you I want you at camp and I don't care what he thinks"Mousetail hissed defiantly and started to leap up the tree towards stormpaw.

"Fine I'll come." She hissed and jumped down from the tree, not wanting Mousetail to get hurt while climbing. She landed and winced in pain.
