"Flintpaw!" Gingerfrost gasped for air. Her appretince was fast!

Sunpaw raced on. "Another piece of crowfood?" she dug a hole, then squeamishly pushed it in, covering it quickly. "I'm going to find some water to wash off my paws in." She bounded away, rinsing her paws in a clean-looking puddle.

Rainpaw glanced at Foxpaw.

Sunpaw licked the water off her paws before padding back to the group. "Anyone know why there's so much crowfood going around?" she mewed, eyes wide.

Flintpaw races back, "A fox!" He howls. "Let's attack it! We'll be made warriors for sure!" He yowls and races away, tracking the scent of the russet colored creature. He soon comes to the clearing where the scent was the strongest, but there was no sign of the mangy creature.

Sunpaw, excited, raced after Flintpaw, adrenaline coursing through her as she raced after her denmate.

Flintpaw looks around, glancing at the smaller apprentice who had come with him. Before he could turn around, 3 foxes flung from the bushes and leaped at the apprentice, the biggest russet animal ripping the fur from the side of Flintpaw's shoulder. He hisses and claws his face, leaping onto the long, narrow nose of the cat. His black and grey pelt now streaked with red gets flung from the creature. He lies limp for a second, then gets up and slashes a slight cut into the throat of the massive beast. It did nothing to weaken it. He screeches in pain as the fox claws his side and into his belly, blood seeping from the wound.

Sunpaw collapsed under the weight of one of the foxes. Snarling, she twisted and clawed at it's belly, making it shriek and let go. She backed into a tree, trading blows with it, earning a cut above her right eye and a nicked ear on the same side. She yowled a battle cry and leaped on top of it, clinging on for dear life as it rolled, trying to squish her. She came up still on it's back, and she bit down into it's ear, making it howl in pain.

Flintpaw growls and slahes the fox's chin, making it back away. He snarls, but a small, probably a kit, tackles him, his ear now bleeding. He hisses and lunges, ripping a giant chunk of fur from the red animal, throwing it off his claws and swiping the fox's nose. He screeches, the fox slamming him to a tree, then biting his throat open.

[EO+RS]

"FLINTPAW!" screeched Sunpaw, tearing the fox away from him and moving to defend him. She was panting witht he effort of the continued fight. "Help!" she yowled as she fought against the foxes.
