Nikie laughed silently. "Yes I may be a problem." She stood up and walked toward the to and trees and sat between them. Cole started barking and growling in his sleep. He stood up for a moment then dropped back down on Shard's tail and started chewing on his tail.

Shard looked between Nikie and Cole, wracked with indecision. Finally, he decided he didn't want to make Cole move. Shard bent down and gently nudged Cole. "Bad dreams?" He murmured to the pup.
